Oh my... normally I have good experiences but this last OH My is all I can say. SO I arrived as they told me they just opened and cookies are still in the oven. From my experience GAC sells their cookies left over from the day before discounted so I asked about discounted cookies then. Stated they don't do that I said fine I get fresh cookies and wait. Ordered cookies and was told to come back in so many minutes so I went to McDonald's. Wasted time came back order cookies again still wasn't ready. Paid for them was told told to park in front and they bring them out. I'm on the phone. Time is just ticking away. I'm like friends it's been how long and they still ain't brought my cookies. Well over 40 minutes. I drove back around. Complain ask for my money back and they state your cookies are right here. I'm like no thanks I don't want them. I've been here well over an hour, spent well over $30 and get this kind of treatment give me my money and you can have the other cookies back and deduct the cookie I did eat. I felt that cookies should be a courtesy for my time. They charged me for the cookie anyway sad! How you hold my cookies at the window when you told me you would bring them to me to pull to the front then tell me you thought I was gone after I have paid for them. Read moreI was NOT impressed with their cookies or the staff at all. I love GAC but I ordered a cookie cake for a birthday party and when I showed up they did not have my order. I was told they could not find it, then the lady went and looked and found it printed up and laid on the desk (It was an online order). She said they could make it but it would be another 30 minutes or so. Of course I waited but was late to my own child's party. I asked to speak to a manager bc the whole time I waited the 3 ladies working was just giggling and playing with no concern that an order was missed. The manager was one of them. All I wanted was someone to say "Sorry" I understand accidents happen. Well when I told her that she responded by saying "Uh Sorry Whatever, Are you happy". The cookie looked horrible, my 4 yr old niece could have done better. When I mentioned how it looked her response was "A cookie man doesn't fit on a square cake" ...Ummm Okay, it was drawn on there by you. I asked about my receipt since my credit card showed pending from the online order and was told they didn't have one for me. Needless to say, I left mad with tears in my eyes...yes I know I should have left the cookie but I had guests at my house who drove from out of town. Just so frustrating!!! Read moreLet me start off by saying the lady that assisted me with my issues at this location was super apologetic and helpful. It was not her fault and she definitely seemed upset that it happened. Onto the story, I called to order a cookie cake for a friend's b-day party the next day. I go to pick up the next day and my cake wasn't there. After they did some looking through orders, they went to the back and found my order in the back somewhere. Whoever I made the order with the day before did not place it in the correct spot for them to see it. They told me they had no sheets baked and that it would be at least an hour wait until they could bake and decorate a new cake. Since the party I was attending was starting in a couple minutes this was not really an option for me. Again, the lady was very apologetic and provided me with a refund. However, even when I was there observing none of the staff were dress appropriately, no hair nets were being used, and half the staff were just sitting around doing nothing. I ended up going to the other location in the mall that was able to decorate a cake for me within 10 minutes. The people at that location (in the food court) were super nice and had a dress code and the location was a lot cleaner. I will be ordering from them...
