I went in there to get rid of some pre 1964 coins. He offered me $1 for each quarter. To an unsuspecting person this sounds good! 4x the face value! Well it's a ripoff.

Selling them at today's silver price would equal $3.25 per quarter (13x face value). He tried to get me to sell them to him for 3.25x less than they are worth. I can see a reasonable price according to how the silver market works being $2.50-$3.00 per quarter.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this place... They offer unfair pricing for buying items, they have been known to buy and sell stolen items before the police even have a chance to get a hold of them... They have a SUPER small selection of merchandise.... There is always random people (I'm assuming family and friends of employees) just standing around behind the counter and they aren't open on Sundays.... Overall , this a pawn shop you might want...
