Sorry to tell you crafters!! This is NOT the Michaels to go to! So disappointing as this is the only one in my area but I will HAPPILY be taking my money to JOANNS from NOW ON.
I bought a few canvas packs that were on sale… when I went to pull them out of the car, one of them was apparently damaged, I went to return/replace the item and the manager JOLENE refused.
I purchased several items that day and scanned them myself in self checkout, it is likely one may have been damaged in the cart and I did not realize because of the tag being on the other side and the way they were stacked. The manager wanted to hear none of this and continued refusing and rudely informing me that it was my responsibility to check each item before leaving the store. I started to have an attitude and was completely bewildered why this woman was in management at all.
I am livid. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on and have called corporate to inform them of their poor store manager’s...

Very large Michaels in the easily accessible shopping center off 280. Huge selection of artmaking and craftmaking possibilities, plus frames and snacks. Why do all craft stores have candy at the check out?! I have my theories... ;-)
This is an accessible store for folks using walkers and wheelchairs.
Big parking lot outside with wheelchair accessible parking.
This store also has crafting classes.
UPDATE: self-check out is turning into big problem. Long snaking line leads to both cashiers and self check out. Customers aren't aware thst one line leads to both options. No system or signage. Nothing to help customers know they can walk past others in linevto use a self check out if they are not paying cash. This is a corporate issue, not a worker issue. They need to hire more cashiers and need to install two lines and signage if they continue with self check out option.
This Michaels is clean with...
Read moreAll in all it's a pretty good arts and crafts store. I was looking for a couple of things and found that you could order online from them and just pick up at the store sometimes it's hard to find little items in that place so I thought oh this is great I can just go in and pick up my order. But I got an email saying that it was there I got there and they had no record of my order I mean they could find my name they knew I had paid but they couldn't give me a refund I have to wait to get my refund through venmo and then I had to shop again for all the items that I just spent an hour online trying to find out and their attitude was basically sorry but too bad. They didn't offer to go and get the items for me or to help me find everything. it was a major inconvenience for me and I was trying to make things easier and ended up making things a lot harder. Just my experience like I said they're a decent art store I noticed a lot of empty spaces...
