Can't never go wrong with ONO best Hawaiian bbq in NorCal hands-down. ... The fresh cold macaroni carrot mayo salad is sayisfying , good combo with Beef & Chicken BBQ Combo , Nutritious Protein after a long Day at Work! I take home 1/2 plate afyer a quick dine-in but during Winter the lounge AREA is too cold to finish in one seating , So I take out whole or 1/2 a dish Also..... the Choice of Beverages is Out of this World !!! There's Orange Passion or Pinneaple Passion and a lot other choices, tangy and sweet , very refreshing thou, Definitely A Must !!!! when I'm in Town - This location has never served Me burnt Chicken Breast -another of their dishes- but Watch out at other locals bcs You might be forced to ask for a new plate since the meat can be burnt-black and So it may be They have a Young Chef, or New Chef? Or, They are being blasted all Night Long because ONO its a magnet and everyone is working like...

I have no idea what they put in their Hawaiian macaroni salad but that stuff is like crack! If you I can't get enough of it! I love to put the teriyaki sauce on the top of it...but that's just me I'm a sauce freak. Personally I'd recommend getting the mixed chicken plate. Half terri & half (Katsu) or breaded chicken.

This location is clean and they keep the condiment bar well stocked. Also if you are a sauce freak like me you will love the self serve sauce bar! They even have plastic containers so if you get carry out you can make sure you have enough sauce...

Hidden gem, tucked away near Target. Great food for a chain. Excellent Kalbi! We've enjoyed the full assortment of plate, keiki lunches, a la carte items etc. Kahlua pork is delish, the katsu is ample, the fish/shrimp is fresh and not overly breaded or fried...the kalbi...did I mention the kalbi? My gawd, plentiful and in spite of perception fairly priced and flavorful--good luck finding better kalbi at H Mart, Kukje or in a local eatery already cooked with such flavor, in such bountiful amounts at such a price.

Not a challenge...just a...

I've been going here off and on for years now. The place isn't too big but parking can be tough depending on the time of the day you go. This time around, I mainly came to get the Lilo and Stitch bag that you get with the purchase of an Ohana meal or Keiki meal. My typical go-to is bbq beef with the veggies and all rice. I don't care for the mac salad here because it has tuna in it. My family, on the other hand, loves it. The Ohana mea is pretty big and was more than enough to feed my family.

Amazingly delicious, healthy and inexpensive fast food restaurant. For about $10 the basic BBQ chicken plate is perfect for TWO people to share... you heard right, yes - one plate of $10 good for two to share: 4 BBQ chicken thighs, 2 scoops of rice, macaroni salad, veggies of cabbage and broccolis with all-you-can-have warm teriyaki and katsu sauces. It really is the perfect meal after our Sunday skate work out at Canada Road.

I saw the Ono Hawaiian BBQ while I was on my way to see my old pal Fathead Marley, he's in Colma now after living the past 30 years down the street from me. I told him before he moved I'd share a bottle of Makers Mark with him each year on the day he moved, and after I left the half empty bottle on Fatheads grave I headed to Ono Hawaiian BBQ for some Hawaiian BBQ chicken. It was spectacular!
