I'm not sure if it was an off day or what... but I didn't get great nails. I went in for a fill and a pedicure. My feet looked worse when I was done. I take very good care of them myself, but I like to go in for maintenance once a month. Once the lotion dried, my feet were rough enough to catch on my socks when leaving. They did a great job with the nails themselves. I'm also very ticklish and a little wiggly at times, so I'm sure that didn't help.
As for my manicure, I was told that it was the owner who did my fingers. I told her that I wanted a basic fill. I told her how I wanted the colors and what shape they needed to be right off the bat. She tried to upsell me a few times, but I wasn't interested. After that, she did the normal fill. She used the dremel to smooth the top, but didn't really use the sponge file enough to make it really smooth. It was still a bit rough and uneven. She was trying to put cuticle oil on when I had to remind her about the shape. I have almond nails, but they had rounded out a bit since my last fill, so I needed them taken down a bit and sharpened up. She didn't shorten them hardly and all and left my nails different lengths. The edges were left sharp and not smoothed out so that it was very obvious that these were acrylic
She then started on the paint. I'm not sure if the pink that I picked had been thinned out to last longer, but it look about 5 coats just to get even coverage. She didn't wait for the nails to dry in between coats, so there are streaks and bubbles in the polish. The polish didn't even cover my entire finger! It completely (and very visibly) left the sides exposed.
At this point, I had already paid. She had me pay before doing my nails for whatever reason. I even tipped ahead of time. My mistake. But to put the cherry on the cake, SHE OVER CHARGED ME. The price for a basic pedicure is $26. That was fine. The price for a fill was listed on their wall as being $20. I did basic acrylic for my fill. I did basic polish as well. But somehow, she thought that it was appropriate to charge me $25 for subpar service.
I was so upset. It was my anniversary and I had to go out with awful nails and scratchy feet. Not to mention that it took over 3 hours for everything. I had to push back my dinner reservation.
Now I have to go spend extra money just to have someone fix this. I am severely...
Read moreWORST SALON EVER!!! This salon absolutely deserves 0 stars. It first started when I entered and I should of just walked back out. Hellen was her name I believe, rudely asked me what do I need. I told her I had an appointment and didn’t even get to finish what I was saying before she cut me off. I waited for over 45 minutes just to move to the chair to get my nail service done. She was working on two other people. It took another 15 minutes just to get started. So as you can see I had a lot of time to observe. I saw another technician doing her own nails which is highly unprofessional. I also saw two technicians using the SAME tools on pedicures. This should of been my time to go. I noticed all the tools are run down, gross and old. A heating pad was used for the collagen gloves and I thought it was going to start a fire for how old it is and it was dirty and just down right nasty. As I was washing ny hands, another customer said you have more paitence then me. This just shows how long I was there for simple nail service that should of took an hour at max. I still have some acrylic nails on when I asked for a full removal. Helen proceided to say I need to pay her first before she would paint my nails. I couldn’t believe it. We continued to get into about the price and she started to go off on me about how my nails were too thick and that’s why I waited so long this and that. I asked if the owner was here and she said why and she begin to yell at me stating I’m trying to get her fired. Still yelling she said sorry but that she didn’t do anything wrong. Clearly she was not sorry. My nails look like sh*t because they are bumpy and cracking due to the fake nail not being completely removed. If this is how she treats customers she should not be dealing with any type of customer service. I will never, ever go to this...
Read moreI called to see if they could get me in which they did pretty quickly. The Bad thing was, they kept pushing me aside instead of putting me first and every person that walked in or called the phone they would immediately stop what they were doing with me and greet them, which would take time out of my day which would then leave me there longer than I needed too. As a business strategy they could all take turns to great people or just have a receptionist. And it wasn’t just a quick hello they would stop five minutes with me during my appointment to do all that stuff. And I felt very rushed even thought they weren’t taking there time with me especially since they were making me wait way longer. Like the lady would be like do you like your nails but then wouldn’t show me my nails like how am I supposed to like my nails if I can’t even see my nails ( she was holding my hand while asking me) .Also the nails I asked for were ok. The nails that I shared in this pic were a few days old so they were already grown out, but if you look at the detail, you can tell the flower is kind of mixed with the white and blue like if they were rushing. And also, the shape is weird to me like they kinda all were different shaped when they were supposed to be almond they just did a Lousy job. My nails were also damaged after this and I don’t Get my nails done, only on...
