I just have to sit down here for a moment and tell you about the experience I had at Crazy Beautiful Hair. First off, finding the place, parking, and entrance was easy and no problem. Now that's out of the way, the experience:
After not ONE good hair experience I can recall in my life, I researched a lot before I went in to get my long locks trimmed, especially after waiting almost 3 years. Reading review after review (not only on here, but any social media, or other review platform I could find) I landed on Crazy Beautiful... specifically Victoria. First, the name stuck out, as I have come to define my hair as such: Crazy Beautiful. Secondly, the amass of photos present showcasing her marvelous work, along with the numerous positive reviews and experiences, showed that Victoria was the one, specifically, whom quite possibly could cut my hair "right for once"...
...and I was right.
She has a gift, that woman. Her and that shop, the entire staff. The welcoming environment when you first step in, along with the calming, chill, family-ran-shop vibes...this was key for such a great experience for me. I was anxious. Nerves were present, hands shaking. But, after just moments in the shop, after sitting in the chair...the anxiety completely subsided and I felt completely taken care of...and heard. She listened to what I said and meticulously executed cutting my hair exactly how I wanted. I didn't even know exactly what I wanted, really and truly...but she was able to pull it out anyway with my odd explanations and hand motions. She gets long hair. This is what I needed. She gets long hair and knows how to work it. Period.
I wish I could boast about everything else and everyone else in the salon more, but I definitely plan on coming back for anything else I may need whilst I'm living in Colorado.
I am writing this review making known a very important thing: they can handle long hair here! If you need your long locks taken care of, please go here...they got you. Don't stress, just relax. No worries, for real. Proof is in their pictures and the countless satisfied clients.

Read moreI had been going to this salon for 3 years and never really had a problem with the work being done but whoever was working on me would always be late or seemed like they weren't really into it and would take their time on the littlest things or always get sidetracked.
But most recently I went in for a completely achievable hairstyle with-in 1 to maybe 2 sessions. Well, I was 4 sessions in and my hair hadn't really changed, by the 5th session, the lady turned my hair green and then blue all in one day. On top of that after turning my hair blue the lady had put in hair extensions I had just bought and ruined those as well turning my black and silver extensions blue. I complained and had the owner fix my hair the next day they stripped out all the color, removed my extensions after ruining them and yet again nothing had changed. At this point my hair is so damaged from how many times it was bleached and colored between March and now that the salon has the audacity to point blame to any and everything else but them self's. After investing over 1000$ in just trying to achieve the hair color not to mention the extensions they ruined or the instillation. All for the salon owner to get mad at me and have her husband yell at me and they dont have that kind of money to refund and that they have their own bills to pay and that they deserved that money over their mistake they very well know they made. And telling me to take them to small claims court.
The saddest part about it all is when the instructors that taught this family ran business even warns you about their shotty hair work. Well lesson learned to never let amateurs work on your hair. But the justice system will definitely be doing its job...
Read moreokay honestly i've sat on this review for a while. i made my appt. i showed up, waited at least 20mins before another stylist called her to see where she was. i have email proof my appt was cancelled 5mins before the set time which who checks their email every 10mins, lets be so real. i was so understanding on that. everyone gets sick. i've had at least 24-26in of hair to work with. going short was scary but ive had celena as a stylist before & the first time i got my hair cut, i was happy. i went back a little over a year later wanting a v cut and to fix my at home mess up hair cut. still with 24-26in to work with. i want a v cut.. i got more than half my hair chopped and verbatim "it's not a v cut but like a u and v cut" my hair has blunt ends and about 12in long now. i couldn't get what i want with so much hair to work with. yes they have kids around the salon, okay it's a family business i get it. i'm all for it and actually supportive but i feel like having to scold the kids took away from her focus. my hair is blunt and what i consider very short since ive had long hair for a long time & took years to grow out. she did a good job before but im still trying to cope with a hair style i know i could have spoken up about to fix it. but that would've resorted in an even more short cut. i'm not confrontational but it has been weighing on me. pictures are my before and after. genuinely still distraught over not getting the style i asked for, me not being confrontational enough to speak up, acting like i was okay bc there was my fault bc there's actually nothing else we could...
