This nail salon is very nice, and they have good service sometimes. I visited before Christmas and got a full set with a design. My appointment was for 6 pm. When I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, and the person who helped was friendly. Once I sat with the nail tech, she asked what I wanted after I checked in for a full set. I asked about nail design and color. She handed me books with nail color and told me to pick a color. Again, I told her I wanted a design, and she asked me to show her a picture. When I showed her what I wanted, she immediately went to tell it was going to cost me $120. I was shocked it was so expensive so I asked her to show me designs that would be cheaper and she became bothered. She showed me pictures in an album, but when I would pick one, the price was over $100. I finally asked her what would be under $100, and she showed me one that was $95. By this time, I was getting frustrated she was being short and not helping at all. Any questions I had, she would give me short or no answer. It seemed like she wanted to hurry and finish. She started working on my nails while I was still looking at the album. Which was very rude. I accepted that she was going to charge me around $100 and thought the design was going to be just like the picture. Long story short, the nails were sloppy, and the design looked like I did it myself. The tech was rude, and all she cared about was that I knew it was going to be $100. Which I didn't mind, but when the end result was so sloppy and nowhere near like the picture. I felt like I got ripped off and rushed. I will never be returning. This was my second time here and the cleanliness of the place, just like the first time, was amazing! I’m pretty much pleased with my mani and pedi, even thought I didn’t realize it would all come out to so much, but I understand everyone’s got to make a living:) The only thing I was pretty disappointed in is that I made my appointment about 3-4 days before I came in and I told the girl on the phone that I wanted dip removal plus dip again with design and also a gel pedi. I told her I realized they close at 6pm that day and asked if 5pm would be okay and she said yes. Fast forward to my appointment, my appointment lasted over 1 hour past closing and, through no fault of their own, I could tell the remaining employees wanted to get out of there(even though they were pretty nice to me the whole time). I completely understand this, although I do wish the girl I made my appointment with told me that time wouldn’t work so we got a better time on the schedule, I knew usually an hour wasn’t enough time for more than one service but I’ve had a nail tech work on my pedi and another on my mani at the same time before, so I thought that may be what they were going to do. Instead of a relaxing appointment, it turned into a stressful one unnecessarily in my opinion. I have been several times to this location. The first was my best. Walked in on a Thursday afternoon and was able to be seen without an appointment and was happy with the nails. The 2nd time I tried to do a walkin was a Saturday and I had to wait about 30 minutes...okay. I didn't have an appointment so I waited but would have been nice to know the expected time to be seated. This recent time I had my grandmother in town. We did the Manitou Incline and wanted a pedicure after the fact. Called and spoke with a woman who said to come at 3. I confirmed it would be for 2 pedicures. We walked in to 4 technicians servicing 4 clients with 4 others in chars waiting to be helped. We checked in to our RESERVED appointments and sat in the waiting area. While waiting we soon realized that the 4 in chairs were also waiting and not being helped. After waiting 7 minutes past the appointment time of our reservation, all 4 of the people I chairs got up and walked out. I assume because they were also done waiting. At this point one of the workers finally said something about how long it would be. She said "there are two people about to finished if you will wait." I asked how long it would be and one of the women seated spoke up and informed everyone that they in fact have not even BEGUN to receive their service. Dont waste your time reserving anything here.
