I've been going to Fun Nails and Spa since the day they opened over a year ago and today was the first day I was truly displeased. I had a nail fix a few days prior got them fixed at $3 each. Great right? Well I told Holly my thumbs are going to fall off soon, and she said come back and we can fix them at $3 each but soon we are changing the fix to $5 each. She said I could pay $3 each (deal $6) So I went in said hey I need a fix and I was considering adding a gel polish and on the price list it says $20. Well I was then told it was $25 because of it being on acrylic. Well the price list doesn't say that. So I was told for a nail fix and gel polish they said $31 ($25 gel polish + $6 (2 nail fix at $3 each). Then I argued it should be honored that the price list says $20 and Danny said ok new total is $30. $20 for the gel polish and $10 for the nail fix( 2 nails at $5 each) I said so it changed $1 from what Holly said to what Danny said. From my math it should have been $26. Immediately I was pissed. I was lied to oh I'll charge you at $3 each nail to fix by Holly to now it's $5 each by Danny And the menu list isn't correct. So even with my child acting up (first time I took him with me to a salon) I was over being there. I was lied to and manipulate. I didn't get the gel polish. Paid the damn $10 to get my 2 nails fixed when it should have been $6. It was not a good experience this time. Such a shame, I've been going there for over a year and now this. What a shame.
Update: 10.12.23 I went in to get a fill and polish and they refused me. All because of my review. Going there for over a year and they can't handle it when someone calls them out for misleading. They once were great. But NOW, absolutely awful. Watch out. They change prices & lie. Cool I've wasted a year getting to know the technicians there from the moment they opened the salon for them to be awful in the long run. Don't go to Fun Nails & Spa. I wish their could be zero star. They...

I came in last Friday for a set of plain dip nails with tips and a pedicure. The pedicure was done well. The girl that did my toes was very sweet
When it came to my nails, they were done poorly. Mike did my nails. We had a great conversation throughout the entire process however Mike did a really poor job shaping my nails
When he finished them, I pointed out multiple places where he had misapplied the dip. My nails were uneven. I left the shop and paid because I thought I could live with them but I came back because some of the flaws were too noticeable.
I came in to speak with the manager. I highlighted to him the issues with my nails and asked for a refund. He said that they don’t offer refunds because apparently they are like a “restaurant” and his employees time was already wasted doing my nails.
Keep in mind I was there for an hour and half getting plain dip nails done in person. I was upset that I physically showed him the errors with my nails and he continued to insist that I wanted a refund because I didn’t like the nails when it was because they were done poorly.
The owner offered to fix them however I’m in the military and couldn’t spend another hour and a half redoing the nails. After continuing to use his poor restaurant analogy, the owner finally offered to give me a refund if I took off the nails. I was so frustrated that I simply said yes so I could get out of there.
I won’t be coming back here again if they’re more worried about “wasting product” and their employees time being wasted, than customer service. I left upset with almost 2.5 hours of my day wasted.
I had previously been to fun nails with my family for a full set of tips on November of 2022 and I had a good experience. This past occurrence was enough to make me never want to go back. I left feeling upset, embarrassed, and I will continue to do my own nails from now on
I included a photo of my fingers after the nails...

This was my first and only experience at Fun Nails and Spa. Ben did my pedicure and he did a good job, but my nails were not properly prepared for the gel and the polish came off after only 4 days. I would expect this from regular polish, but not gel.
Mae did my dip manicure with chrome finish and it was not a good service at all. First and foremost, there was not "manicure" to it at all. No cuticle care happened at all, and when Mae went to apply the dip, she didn't put the base layer on properly, so my brand new set of nails looked grown-out from the start. She also failed to properly dremmle the dip down, so my nails are lumpy and misshapen. Finally, I was most disappointed because throughout the full service she was texting and taking phone calls, clearly distracted. She then proceeded to complain that she was supposed to leave early that day and was upset that more people were coming in. Probably why she rushed through my manicure and did a poor job. It was also an extra charge of $10 for chrome, which at other places, it's only $5.
Finally, I finished with an eyebrow wax. I can't remember the name of the woman who did my wax, but like the rest of my services it was rushed and unsatisfactory. I made sure to tell her before the service that I just wanted my brows touched up and didn't want them too thin. They were a little too thin for my liking, but the worst part was that she left a lot of strays behind. I had to touch them up myself at home that night.
Overall, I would say that this is NOT the spot to go in Colorado Springs. I will...
