I went into this store and asked for them to take my acrylic set off as well as the polish off of my toes. There was a little wait so I told the lady no worries i’ll be back in 30 minutes. I came back a little over 30 minuets and they came to soak my nails. The lady went to do another lady nails (which was fine) but let my nails soak for so long the acrylic that was coming off in the nail polish remover was now attaching to my skin. I started removing my nails and was surprised I actually finished without someone at least checking on me. The manager came and began to file my nails once again, I asked her not to because my nails were already thin and to just buff them and she kept filing them until I pulled my hand away. I went to go wash my hands and when I dried them, I saw all of this acrylic on my hand, it looks like my skin was shedding. I shook my head, dipped a napkin in the polish remover, took my toe polish off and just paid $10 for the service. I went to my car and told myself I couldn’t leave without saying something so I went back in to speak to the manager. I told the manager politely that I felt as if this was a poor experience for me while showing my hands and she responded in a loud tone explaining how the events happened. I responded back in a loud tone saying “if you want better a better service you have to treat your customers better” and she responded with an “i’m sorry ok.” Never had this type of nail experience, I use to go to this nail salon because of the previous owner it was a great nail place. I just think it unprofessional now and...
Read moreRecently moved to COS and have been trying to find a decent nail salon, I think i might've finally found them! I absolutely love them. My nail tech made me feel super comfortable as soon as we started (wish I'd caught her name) and made sure to let me know to tell her if I wanted her to fix anything during the process and she continued to check on my satisfaction until the final dry! 99.9% of salons don't suggest fixes so I really appreciated that. It's the first time i tried an Oval shape and I wasn't sure what to watch for in shape deficiency (and i know its not a common shape these days) so i chose to let her do her thing and see how I liked them. Now I know what changes I'll like for next time but it was decent enough for me to want to do it again. MY PEDI THOUGH!!!! Finally, I've found a place in COS that cleans their foot bath basins after use and uses liners for every customer! I got the Voesch pedi in tangerine and my tech was AMAZZIIIIING! I've been doing this for 15 years now and I can say that it was 150% the best pedi I've ever recieved! Her massage work was ON POINT! When she started the stone massage, I thought the stones could be hotter but really didn't mind because of how amazing her massage was. It's been at least 3 months since I've pampered my feet and it was totally worth it. I'll definitely be booking with them...
Read moreMaybe it depends on the person you get, but my nails came out horrible. I asked for a medium length coffin full set. I didn't realize it until I got home since they were closing when I left, but each nail on every finger is a different length. The acrylic is thicker on some nails and thinner on others, you can see the acrylics strokes underneath the Polish which looks sloppy and they used the artificial nails that are shaped down, which are awful looking. I paid $70 for amateur work. The two pictures show both middle fingers on each hand, and both ring fingers... Completely different lengths. This was my first time here, and I am never going back. The only reason why I didn't go back and have them fix it is because my natural nails are already super thin and the only way they could correct this is by taking off each acrylic and starting over which I don't believe my natural nails can handle right now. Never had this issue before anywhere else. Not happy with the nails.
UPDATE - Only a week later and the acrylic is already lifting on three nails. Horrible application process. Also, my original review...
