We had a great experience today purchasing a new mattress for our daughter. Dez was friendly and made the purchase easy!
Editing this review because I really should have waited until the process was complete to leave one. On June 9th we went into the store to purchase a mattress. We previously purchased a purple mattress from this location. We ended up purchasing a mattress, two pillows, protectors for everything and sheets. Dez said the mattress, sheets, and one pillow were in Denver. She said it normally takes a week to be delivered but she says 10 days to be safe. She then asked me to scan her QR code and leave a review, which I did. On Sunday the 15th I got a text saying the items were here and we can schedule delivery. So, it took 6 days to get the items from Denver to the Springs. I replied, assuming since the store is only a short distance from our house, it would be delivered pretty quickly. Dez texted stating they could deliver in on the 26th, another 10 days. We decided we could not wait that long. We wanted to return the items and look at other places where we could get a mattress sooner. Dez then replied then could deliver it on the 21st, still 6 days away. We stated we just wanted to return the items. Dez called me less than a minute after I sent the text stating she spoke with a manager and they would deliver it Monday, the next day. Monday morning I got a call from Denver Mattress stating they would deliver it between 8-12. Two men arrived who were very polite. They asked where we would like the mattress and were ready to bring it inside, and upstairs to the bedroom. They then went on the truck and came back out saying they didn’t have the mattress. They said it was listed on their dispatch but was not put in the truck. Someone called me right away and she stated she was sorry for the mix up but we aren’t scheduled for delivery until the 21st. I told her that is not correct and Dez told me it would be delivered today, and I received the call to schedule the time. She said she would call me back. Dez called me back and said someone would deliver it in the next hour but “it would be a drop off meaning they will leave it at the front door.” That was off putting and unprofessional to provide lesser service because they messed up, but we just said ok. What really left a bad taste was that a manager and another man showed up and when we opened the door the manager said “where do you want this?” No hello, how are you, sorry for the mix up. They slid it in the door and the manager handed my husband a paper and told him to sign. The time frame for delivery was crazy, and unless they are only sending out trucks once a week or something (which is awful customer service) it makes no sense. Then we were treated as if we were an inconvenience and given terrible service because they did not communicate with each other. My husband and I (which I am an amputee btw) ended up dragging the huge mattress up the stairs, without the help of the two men who were supposed to be...
Read moreFinding the right mattress has been an elusive endeavor for me for many years. Mattress stores I have been to before typically ask what kind of mattress I want and show those mattresses. I have purchased box mattresses, but again I bought the mattress in the category I thought I wanted.
Anthony greeted me when I arrived at this Denver Mattress Store. He asked several questions about what position I slept in, what I needed the mattress to do for me, what kind of mattress I currently have and what I liked and didn’t like about that mattress. (My classification of his questions).
I tried the mattress I thought I wanted and he conducted strength tests to see how the mattress affected me. He also evaluated the straightness of my spine when on my side. I stayed on the mattress long enough to determine comfort past the first few minutes.
Based on my feedback and Anthony’s observations we tried several other mattresses. The mattress I purchased based on the experience on each mattresses is not the one I would have selected using the what kind of mattress I like method. The process did lead me to the most comfortable mattress for me.
The “fitting” of the mattress took about one and a half hours and it was time well spent. Anthony was truly committed to finding the correct mattress for me. He was thoughtful, thorough and easy to work with.
Without reservations I recommend the Furniture Row Denver Mattress Store...
Read moreI’m usually not one to leave reviews but this was one of the worst customer service experiences I ever had. I came in with my boyfriend because we were in the area and had been talking about a new mattress. We were greeted by the manager named Callie and she started off with bad energy being less than energetic and professional with us on meeting. The whole experience got worse as she had absolutely bare minimum knowledge on the beds or what would fit us best. Then when we told her we weren’t sure of buying today she gotten even more rude and short worded with us. After asking her if there was a problem she just sighed and asked if we had a problem. I told her I don’t think this is for her if she couldn’t handle helping customers and she told me she wouldn’t have her job if she wasn’t. I asked to speak to her boss to which she replied I could call the corporate number if I really thought she was an issue. I will be trying to reach out to a regional manager but if this is the type of person running a store I can only imagine the people she takes orders from. Sad it turned out like this because I only heard good things about Denver mattress maybe I just got a sour apple but I’d avoid this store...
