First of all, this review is NOT for the saleswoman, but for the store Manager. There was a survey sent to me about every aspect of our shopping and delivery but nothing about the management. So here’s my survey response: We had our furniture shipped to store, then delivered to our home via contactless delivery today after purchasing our couches in September. The packages clearly show that the items to be delivered were not correct. Instead of receiving a chaise and sofa, we received two chaises instead. When my husband realized the mistake he called the store, spoke with our amazing and hard working saleswoman and she was going to problem solve what happened. We called back a few hours later and we were told by the manager that the manufacturer made the initial mistake (no ownership whatsoever) and sent the wrong pieces. However, the manager stated that we would have to have the “wrong” piece picked up from our home and then we can order the correct piece. We will have to wait again for our correct order! There were no apologies, no “make it right” nothing. The management should be the first line of support for his employees and customers and check the order when they come in . The tags clearly state chaise lounges on both but the order number matched. Two separate items delivered on two separate days. Not only did the manager not know what was going on in his own store, he did not offer to call other stores. His employee, who works on commissions, has to take out her time and living wages to go above and beyond. (During a Black Friday Sale) Why? I learned today that our salesperson looses out on commissions payment today. This is a horrible way to treat your employee and a very poor way to represent this company. Do not shop here. Today my status has went from zero to 100% I am sooo soo pleased I cannot say thank you enough, after my first unsatisfactory review, Jennifer B reached out to me and directed me to contact the store again, I did and Louis was outstanding, they sent the repair guy out free of charge when I had been previously told that would cost me 30.00. The repair guy Matt was outstanding super friendly and knowledgeable, he explained to me that he could repair it but it would take a little work I was then contacted by Louis again and was given the choice to come in again and see if I wanted to choose something else or have mine repaired, I chose to have mine repaired as I really really like the Guilby. Louis said it would be no problem they would repair it, his customer service was outstanding! They were very patient with me and was very understanding of my problem unlike the service I had received from the previous store manager. Matt the repair guy picked up the first part of my sofa, repaired it and I love love love it!! He has taken the second half of the sofa and I’m certain it will be just as good as the first piece he brought back! I was given a delivery date four days after purchasing the bedroom set which was the soonest they had. Only to be told ion the day of delivery that they didn’t have all our furniture and would reschedule for the following week on Tuesday. I asked for at least the dresser so that I could get my clothes out of baskets and we would continue to sleep on our mattress on the floor for another four days. Then the day my bed was supposed to be delivered after waiting over a week no phone call for delivery. I had to call the store two times to only be told that they would deliver it the next day.
