Daisy Nail Salon — Local services in Colorado Springs

It all began because after 8 days, my gel finish started flaking off, that's a 1 star right there, ONLY 8 DAYS!! I had an appointment scheduled and arrived 2 minutes late and waited for almost 10 minutes realizing every technician was busy and maybe half way finished with that customer, meaning I would probably be waiting for another 15 to 20 minutes. I informed the owner I was leaving because I couldn't wait any longer. In the past, I have waited almost 15 minutes past my appointment time before they started. I went in today because after 8 DAYS my gel manicure was flaking off, and wanted it removed, not replaced. I've usually had success with manicures and gel polish here, but not lately. This used to be my go to place, not anymore! I feel they are rushing now and the quality has slipped. They ask for a phone number when you schedule an appointment, so use it and call your customers when you are running behind schedule!!. Being on time means something to me and you are not my only appointment for the day. If I would have stayed, I would have been late at my other appointment and would have caused someone else to wait for me to arrive, this is unacceptable 😑. If I make an appointment, I expect to get started at my appointment time. I also don't expect my gel polish to flake off...

My daughter and I love getting our nails done and we usually love this place, but the first two nail tech chairs are the only good techs on the weekends. The owner always tries to put my daughter with the third chair and the tech doesn’t do nails well at all. The first time I let the third chair do her nails I had to bring her back the next day to get them completely redone and fixed, so I asked the owner to not put my daughter with him, and when I made my appointments I always told them I needed the first two chairs. But then at my last appointment he made my daughter go to the third chair. I told the owner that I don’t mind waiting and reminded him of my bad situation with his work, but he said he was too busy and if I waited, then the people on the schedule would have to wait and basically guilt tripped me. Also talked about how much practice the tech has had since then, so I caved and let him do her nails, and again, they turned out horrible. So instead of taking her back the next day, I will just find another salon that will listen to me. I went here for over a year too. Maybe they should have just listened to a customer that valued the business and just wanted to have nice nails for the pretty penny that I paid for...

My nails were terribly damaged here! came in for a shellac manicure. The lady filed too much of my nails, took too much from the whole nail too and the shape was off. She filed vertically !!! It was painful! Then she couldn't apply the polish evenly or there was another reason why the gentleman took over! Didn't explain to me why they switched! He was good! and fixed the shape of my nails. So they looked OK...until I took the polish off...( I did it at another salon, and they were shocked how my nails looked!) So now for about a month I can't have my nails done because they look terrible and so brittle they are not growing!!! so sad! first few days after taking the polish off my nails hurt so bad!!! were too sensitive if anything touched them!!! Sorry for the long review but had to do it!!! I'm not saying the whole salon is bad, that woman SHOULD NOT BE DOING...
