Not impressed. Our final low-volt bill was over 5k, but the more and more I look at what HomeRun did here, I can't help but be disappointed that I spent that much on things I'm now redoing.
Outside outlets were not finished despite having had that conversation with them prior to install. Absolutely ALL ethernet connections in the mechanical room are too short to use with anything around their junction box. I had to used ethernet extensions on the 1000's of dollars worth of pre-wiring. The junction box is positioned in such a way that nothing can mount directly near it. I had to modify the wood structure.
The cap for me came today when while trying to fish a cable through their conduit, every single cable got caught on something because it's not a smooth or clean conduit all the way through. I'm assuming that they will all be problematic and just went ahead and bought a fishing tool. After support is also pretty terrible. I haven't seen anyone since sales except the one guy who came to show me what I could have watched a YouTube video for. No orientation for anything from outlets to what was done on our contract.
I wouldn't do business with again, the builder might want to think about using...
Read moreWe can not thank Cheyanne and Josh enough for going the extra mile and taking ownership of our situation. My husband and I moved into our new home and needed to leave quickly to return to the Midwest. Cheyanne worked to "fit" us in on a next-day service call. Considering we're moving into a new neighborhood where they already had several jobs scheduled, that was an amazing gesture.
When Josh arrived, he realized that some items wouldn't "talk" to one another. He apologized and said he couldn't set up our alarm system. Josh called his manager and Cheyanne that evening, and they worked us in again the next day. We could leave our home and know that it is safely secured and everything was connected correctly.
Lastly, Josh talked to us about the other services HomeRun offers and how they install various items. We will definitely be using HomeRun to hang our TVs, install a sound bar, and, I'm sure, other items we realize we need along the way. Thank you for a great experience, HomeRun Electronics,...
Read moreI built a new classic home and had the displeasure of dealing with homerun electronics. I got four speakers wired in my ceiling and outside patio. I had to purchase a $600 amp to get it to work. Then they charged me $115 to hook up the four wires. The install guy was very worried about his next appointment and tried to leave my house without even explaining how to use it. I WOULD NOT recommend these hu$tlers to anyone. They are happy to charge you for very simple things. I get it times are tough and its a for profit company. I also had a problem with the eero wifi system I set up and they told me I needed a New router a switch and direct point to point hooks up. Turns out I really only needed a $30 switch from bestbuy. Overall poor experience. Joel also suggested I hooked up my entire smart home package myself after I paid for it through classic homes. I would never use these guys unless you want to pay a ton of money for something you cN...
