I’m only giving this place 1 star to leave a review but honestly that’s being too generous. I have been coming here for the last several months and today was my last visit. My first appointment started off bad so I shouldn’t have came back. My first appointment I was asked if I could wait for a walk in who didn’t have an appointment! I told the nail tech (Cindy) I couldn’t wait because of time and asked what happened to my scheduled appointment time. She ended up doing my nails first and apologized for the wait and explained to me how she is short staff and is having a hard time. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and come back. My next couple of visits the customer service was good, however, she didn’t have a good variety of gel polish. She has the typical fake nails displayed for gel polish but half of the colors displayed are no longer available. I ended up switching to powder instead of gel because of the lack of colors and this is where the HORROR begins!!! First and foremost she did not explain how the powder is more permanent then the gel polish so you can’t just switch colors. Getting the powder also requires for drilling which is damaging your nails. If you want the color completely off you will have to get it soaked and Cindy will charge you money to soak off. I don’t understand why she is charging to disk off when she is the one suggesting customers to get powder instead of gel polish. To me that is greedy and very shady business. Powder is not like gel polish and should not be offered like it is the same! My last straw was today when she messed up doing my nails got frustrated and did not want to fix it. She claims I didn’t tell her right away. Well I didn’t notice right away and why would you want someone to leave your shop with messed up nails!!!! My nails use to grow and look healthy from the gel polish and overlay, now my nails are weak, broken and unhealthy. Stay away from this...

Honestly, this place is underrated. The family that owns this place is so nice. I go to one person only but because she remembered me after the first time and that’s amazing to me. I started going here in early December 2022. I honestly was so surprised with long these nails lasted, into February! I like the dip polish because it helps me protect my nails. They take their time with my nails. I felt so rushed at the other places and they were started to skip the massage part and some steps in the nails so it’s why I came here. They have a lifelong customer if they let me. The other thing is I like to treat my parents to bring a mani and pedi for medical and pleasure purposes so if they are ever treated weird or proper at the other places then I was out. This one they were so grateful that I had them there. Love this place. I’ll show pics of my nails for each time, red was December (adding the Grow out picture), early February is pink, March is green. Yes, these are my real nails but I’m my pink one I broke one prior to getting those so they did a baby extension to match the length of the others. I also want to say my mom got a manicure and she loved it. My dad gets pedicures and he was just so happy about how careful they were with his toes especially since he hurt one...

Just about the only good thing to say of my experience is that the owner and her 1 staff were friendly for the most part. However, my nails were done with what seems to be low-quality materials; furthermore, they were not filed properly and have chips and rough, uneven edges, as they were in a hurry and distracted. Also, the owner (who did my nails) was told exactly what I wanted before she started working but tried to talk me out of it when she was trying to hurry me out the door. Also, she didn't tell me beforehand that it would cost extra when she did something which I had expected was included in price. (The lesson there is to just ask what the total is beforehand but how can you know when something is not itemized on the menu and you are charged for it unsuspectingly?)

Overall, it was an unprofessional experience, but I had to try it out to see if I could save time and money by going somewhere more convenient. This experience shows that this was a case where it was not worth it. 2-stars because I understand being understaffed and because they were not flat-out rude, but only 2-stars because of the aforementioned and I have higher standards for a manicure given the fact that, elsewhere, I have received service as it was...
