NaRai Siam Cuisine is a hidden gem in the Cheyenne Mountain resort area of Colorado Springs near highway 115. They open at 4:30 for their dinner service. We were greeted and seated right away by friendly staff. It starts getting busy around 5:30/6pm. They have ample spacious seating. We ordered the chicken spring rolls, which are served slightly warm. We asked for the peanut sauce to dip these delicious appetizers in. Three come in an order for $8. My friend ordered the sesame chicken, which was so delicious and flavorful. They served lightly breaded white meat chicken with plenty of stir fry vegetables. It was incredible. I ordered the garlic beef with noodles. We both had the medium heat for our Thai dishes; I would try hot next time, as the medium was more on the mild side. You can also ask for a side of crisp chili oil to add heat. The food came out hot and fast. Our server was attentive and checked on us regularly ; she topped off our waters several times too throughout our meal service. I enjoyed this dining experience. They had great background music playing that had a house music vibe to it. I’ll definitely be back to dine at NaRai Siam again!!

I find myself to be pretty honest with my reviews. I can say that NaRai has pretty good variety of plates and the atmosphere is well put which includes their very attentive service. As for the food I really don't know if it was me but after 3 bites i couldn't eat. It was very overpowering with sweetness it has for the Beef pad Thai. As for the broccoli it was the same way but the bitter sodium was overpowering after the second two bites. have had Thai restaurants before but these plates just didn't feel fresh at all, both had very very chewy beef, and to me it feels like they particularly don't do the sauces they add from scratch or if they do they make so much that they loose their freshness. I ordered a Thai Tea with boba and it was actually very good EXCEPT for the boba those felt old and hard, not fresh at all. I will particularly not be going to this business at all cause for starters I'm not the type to hand plates back for my taste buds and don't want to waste 19-25 dollars per person just to see if I may like it.

I have been a big fan of NaRai Thai, NaRai Siam's sister location. NaRai Siam is a lot closer to my home so my husband and I first went there the first week they were open. The food was not great but we decided to try it again last night. We got take out which is always a nice option. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is lovely. We got our order reasonably easily and took it home. The portions were amazing. Each box was filled to the brim. The chicken Pad Thai we ordered with extra cilantro and peanuts and it came with neither. The Pad Thai did taste really good though. Then we had the Chicken Basil Fried Rice. I struggles to find any basil in it, which is the best part. The flavor was mostly soy sauce and neither my husband nor I cared for it. While the portions were good and the Pad Thai was comparable to NaRai Thai, we will not be going back. NaRai Thai is just an overall better experience with the taste and quality, if not the quantity, of the food.

It has a more contemporary atmosphere here. We wanted to give them a try since their star rating was around 4.5. However we felt disappointed. I believe they were short handed as we had to wait for someone to order our drinks. We noticed other tables were waiting as well for their check or even to-go boxes. We came in on a Monday but they were full of tables with only 2 servers. We wanted to really give them 2.5 stars but of course the ratings wouldn't let us rate it that way. There is a reason I chose 3 stars over 2 stars with an explanation at the end of this review.

On to the food. We ordered Pot Stickers, wonton soup, Tum Yum Seafood Noodle Soup, and one of Chef Special Halibut Curry. One Thai Tea Float with Boba. Water all around.

First the Thai Tea. It was just Thai Tea. Even with the ice and the boba. We can tell the Thai Tea is not homemade. We've had better around the Springs area. The boba is ok it was cooked all the way which in turn should be soft.

The Pot Stickers were fine it was basically just fried on one side and the other side probably preheated/boiled. The sauce that came with it is ok. We can definitely taste the garlic in it.

The wonton soup was way overwhelmed with the saltiness. We can taste the overpowering soy sauce. It was way too much. Its obviously just cooked in beef broth. No chopped green onions either or fried onions. The kids said it was very salty as well so we told them just eat the wontons.

The Tum Yum Seafood Soup was ok too. It was actually way too sweet. Nothing really made us say wow.. We ordered with mild spiciness. The meat portion of the seafood i would say is generous. There was scallop, fish, etc. Pretty much seafood. The noodles is basically the pad thai noodles that was used for this dish. Again nothing really spectacular.

Lastly, the Halibut Curry was great. Not salty or too sweet. Curry was actually curry. You can taste the coconut flavor in the curry as well but not too overpowering. The ingredients were all in moderation. Maybe thats why its the Chef Special. I believe they put a little more effort in this dish. Also they were generous with the amount of Halibut in it. Nothing special with the Halibut. No seasoning or anything which is fine with me. No fishy smell which is good. There was edamame and red bell peppers in it as well. Spiciness we chose was mild too on this dish.

We waited to see if at least once someone would come by and ask how our food was but we were pretty done. We had to wave a server down to ask for the check. One of the servers finally came over with a pitcher of water however we were already done. I understand the servers were really busy. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Thats why it was rated 3 stars rather than below 2.5. We would like to give them another try and order other dishes. Mostly this review goes towards the quality of the food. The servers were fine i understand they are busy running around like that and im sure they were short handed. I will certainly edit/update this review...

I had heard good things, so tonight I excitedly ordered for the first time. We ordered take out. 3 entrees, 3 appetizers, and 2 thai teas for $86.02.

I don't normally leave reviews but I was so disappointed in my food I needed to warn other people.

Service: when we arrived the resteraunt was moderetly busy (about a third to a half of the done in tables were occupied and one family eagle in for dine in at the same time as we spice for pick up). The resteraunt was well staffed. At least 4 staff members walked past us without saying anything to us. I had to go to the bar and say excuse me to catch the attention of anyone for the pick up order. They then asked if we wanted utensils and I said yes, however we did not receive any.

Food: When we got home a dug in we were disappointed in all 3 entrees. We ordered yellow curry thai hot, the curry itself was decent but there was absolutely zero spice. Definitly not thai hot, very disappointing. The other two entrees we ordered hot. The first, drunken noodles, was the blandest version of the dish I've ever tried, again, not a single ounce of spice. The second, garlic noodles, was actually spicy, which illustrated that the resteraunt can in fact serve spice if it chooses and simply neglected to complete the other two entrees per the order specifications. Unfortunately, the garlic noodles, though they had flavor, were incredibly dry. We had no complaints about the appetizers or tea. However at a $96 price tag, we are incredibly underwhelmed and will not order again or recommend to anyone.

Atmosphere: we didn't dine in, but observing the resteraunt while we waited we agreed it looked very nice, comfortable and charming with a relaxed...

I've been coming here for years and the food is still good, I reccomend the thai basil fried rice and drunken noodles. But the last few times I've gone, the service has been terrible. It seems like the workers don't care about the customer and can not handle more than 2 tables at a time. I probably will only be ordering takeout from here now at most because the service has really gone down hill. The last few times the servers took forever to take one order. Then when it got a little busy they completely forgot about our table and a few other tables had opted to leave after not being served after waiting almost 30 minutes just for their drinks. This was my final straw with actually eating in the restaurant though, I had called almost an hour ahead with a reservation for 6 people and obviously when you expect to sit 6 people you don't give them the smallest table in the restaurant. When we were sat down we were given a table that could barely fit even 4 people, let alone once the dishes came (the dishes are large here). I politely asked to be moved to a table that was a little larger so that we could maybe order more than 2 plates of food for 6 people, and I was instead met with attitude and the servers talking to us like we were stupid. They said "well what did you expect it's busy" meanwhile there was only 2 customers in the whole restaurant. To conclude if you have a party of more than 4 people I suggest calling ahead and specifying that you need a decently sized table cause the servers apparently don't have common sense that 6 people can't sit at a table meant for...
