I went here for the first time over the weekend for a full set and didn’t have the greatest experience. They were nice and I’ve seen pictures of great nails they’ve done, so this isn’t to say they do a poor job. One of the reasons I don’t get my nails done often is because they’re never done like I want, even when I speak up about it (anywhere, not just here). I asked about cutting and pushing my cuticles back (exposing more of my natural nail) and the guy kind of argued with me multiple times saying that he did that with the drill. Also let out some heavy sighs like I was being difficult, when I truly was not trying to be. Shaving off some cuticle pieces is not pushing the cuticles back. One of my thumbs nails was cut significantly shorter than the other before acrylic was applied and he said ā€œnot by too much. It will grow fast.ā€ When he could have just put a new one on and made sure they were even. I also didn’t get to wash my hands after the drilling so I had the dust all over and he just started painting them anyway. It’s been a few days and my clunky nails (supposed to be tapered) are growing out and I can see a lot of space between my cuticle and the start of the nail. And the leftovers of shaved cuticles, which does not look good. Ultimately, I won’t go back. If I spend $70 on nails, I want them to look nice and even and not be treated like I’m difficult for asking for it.

I went with my wife for pedicures today. This was only my second time having a pedicure. We were met at the door and immediately guided to a couple of open seats. No reservations needed, walk-ins welcome! A gut named Harry took care of my wife's feet and a wonderful young lady named Courtney took on the challenge of my feet. The chairs have built-in massage, so that was awesome. Dipped my feet in the luxurious warm, great smelling water. Okay, I honestly don't know all the steps we went through, but there was foot and leg massaging, warm paraffin wax, some cheese-gratering, smoothing, sugar scrubbing and more. Courtney was so pleasant and funny and she has very strong hands. She made me so comfortable with the whole process. I did find out that my feet are surprisingly ticklish, but even that was fun(ny). I succumbed to peer pressure from my wife and other customers and even allowed my nails to be painted a very macho shade of jet black. All-in-all, this was a super fun and relaxing way to spend some time getting self-care. I highly recommend Fancy Nails Spa!

I normally have a nail salon I go to but it was closed on the day I needed my nails refilled, before going across country. I get my acrylics done quite often to the point of where they are well maintained and not grown out. I set up an appointment the day of and when arriving i waited 5-10 minutes to be served. The overall experience was decent, although the worker wasn’t very careful when using the drill close to the cuticle. Because it’s a lighter color I can give some grace to have random fuzzies and particles in my nail that you can plainly see. Only three days later entire acrylic chipped off of my finger exposing my real nail!! I’ve never had such a weak acrylic in my life. Will not be going back. Now I have to find someone local on my trip to redo these. What a nightmare.

I went in on Saturday & got a pedicure. It was good. No issues. I wish it had ended there. I asked for waxing of my lip & chin as well. I was taken to that area of the location. The woman who did it was very rough. She completed my lip & then moved to my chin. After waxing was done. I felt her doing something unfamiliar to my chin area. I opened my eyes & saw she was using a razor blade, not attached to a razor, on my chin! I asked her what she was doing & she immediately opened a drawer & tucked the razor blade away. I asked her why she would do that & all of a sudden, she wasn't talking... she didn't really respond. I felt like there was a language barrier issue but she was trying to converse with me before. She should have NEVER used a razor of any kind. PERIOD. I told her to stop as she continued to try to apply oil to my skin. I stood up & she continued to try to wipe my face. I told her to stop. I walked to the front of the location, talked to the manager/ owner as I was paying. He acted like he had no idea of the process or why she would use a razor. He offered no compensation. That's fine. I didn't ask not to pay. He said he'd talk to her. I doubt that will happen. I'm left questioning how unsanitary this was!! Was the razor used on others in the same manner? To be tucked into a random drawer? Dirty & unsanitary. This totally erased any satisfaction I had in my pedi. It made me question everything about their practices. If I had wanted to SHAVE my face, I didn't need to pay a stranger with a dirty razor to do it. I would have stayed at home. I'm disgusted & would caution anyone ringing about using...

The owners are Very Nice People! Love them but they hired a couple people that seem to not know what we’re saying or what we want and desired nails didn’t happen for lack of communication. Also price is high! Very high for what I Paid well over $125 for mani pedi And more for waxing I got dip and supposed nail design I got a sticker for nail design can’t even see it and looks foggy and clear behind sticker background and no nails just color. Also my colors also couldn’t match because they didn’t have the same for both. I asked for square I got round, I asked for ombrĆ© I got a one nail different color than the rest, I felt rushed and like she was bothered to do my nails, I got passed around by people, and the pedi didn’t even scrap my feet Well to get skin off I was left with skin loose there, last I had color on my skin left over and not cleaned up. I feel taken advantage of I wasn’t even offered a drink we were there with a Bday party and over 2 hours They had wine šŸ· and other drinks my daughter or friends didn’t even get asked! it should have been offered we had an appointment for the price paid I expected more. I got what should have been $60 elsewhere not claiming to be fancy nails for $155+ I expect fake nails and what I asked for at least! As well as nail design not a sticker!. This was anything but Fancy. If you want a high price and medium done nails go here. Otherwise happy hunting finding real nice...
