A huge thank you and shout out to the staff at 3502 Hartsel Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, 80920. We order from there pretty regularly and it’s always great. But today was above and beyond.
We had an emergency where we had to take our son to urgent care (he’s fine though thankfully!) and my wife called me right as I was pulling up to get the pizza. I rushed home instead and we took our son in. An hour-and-a-half later we were out of the doctors with him exhausted but okay. My wife suggested we call to see if I the pizza still there. If it was great, didn’t really care if it was a little old since we were tired and hungry and if not all good and totally understandable, we were super late, I hadn’t called to let them know, and I would imagine that it would have been thrown out because of holding times and such.
It had been thrown out according to the person I talked to on the phone, but without me even asking she said that they would remake the order for us for no charge and have it ready and fresh when I got there. And it was hot and tasty for sure!
Thank you so much. By helping us out by remaking our meal when our money is tight and meaning we didn’t have to cook was so helpful and took so much stress off.

Read moreI go to this location frequently as it’s very close to my house, usually it’s okay and quick friendly service. However, last night I went in for a classic pep, they had one ready as they usually do. When she handed it to me though, I could tell the pizza was very old.. the box wasn’t even the slightest bit warm. The person who helped me was not friendly, they barely said 2 words to me. Another person was stocking sodas and I went to grab a 2 liter, they made it seem like I was a burden on their flow for having to grab a soda from the other side of which they were stocking. I get home literally 2 minutes away and open the pizza, it’s hard cold to the touch like it’s been sitting out for probably hours. Something I’d eat out of the fridge next day or something. What happened to “hot” and ready? Pathetic

I called the store and was polite and asked the manager if they could make sure we are receiving our sodas when we order. 80% of the time I pay for a 2 liter and do not get it or the brownies I order for my kids. Tonight was no different. The manager said to write in the notes to tell the driver not to forget stuff. I do feel it’s the responsibility of the staff to make sure customers get what they pay for. I ran three Subway restaurants and have dealt with drivers so I get it. But ultimately good service is making sure your customers get what they pay for instead of blame shifting onto the drivers and even the customer. I was partially blamed for this tonight.
