I took my two girls in this place for what I thought would be a higher end haircut because it's more expensive than let's say a sport clips or great clips. Julie did their hair, she was kind to the kids but anytime I would want to check quality even a little she would give me attitude ( subtle attitude is still attitude) she would make comments like "I've been doing this for 30 years." Anyway, I called back a couple days later to see if I can get a refund or a discount because I couldn't afford to go to a different salon and pay another $50. When I spoke to them about my dissatisfaction with the cuts they had me come back in and get it fixed by a seasoned cutter. I agreed and the cuts looks a little better but what turned me off was that the lady who did the fix was just as rude as the first. She hardly smiled and seemed annoyed the entire time even hinted (to my daughter) that she has to sit still or she will get a bad haircut. My daughter was still and great for both cuts. Besides the occasional "hey your head is tilted, can you straighten up?" So overall I'm giving you guys a 3 star review because you did do the right thing and help fix the cuts but your attitude was not good and you had a lack of customer service in certain areas. Saying thanks for letting us make it right but then blaming the bad cuts on my pickiness or my daughter not sitting still isn't ok. After the hair dried (after the fix cuts) I will have to fix my older daughters hair myself because of a couple spots that just do not look right. I tip well and was disappointed the treatment me and my kids received.
Update: a day later and after straitening my kids hair, showed a lot of choppiness and unevenness. I will have to take my kids to another salon, well you live and you learn. lowering the star...
Read moreHad an appointment today at 10am for a very important event, for a hair style. I arrived a few minutes after 10am to be notified the manager/ stylist I was scheduled with wasn't in yet, and person working hadn't heard from her, and that also, there was another client that also had a 10am appointment waiting for the same stylist. First of all, I drove 40 minutes and used my gas to get to the appointment, then double that for the drive back home of my valuable, but wasted time and gas. Secondly, the salon opened up at 9am, so at the least, someone should have noticed the double booking and could have reached out to advise, thus possibly saving me the time, trip and gas - all valuable and cost me $. Especially on a day that I had an important event - my time, $ was valuable even more so this day, and also, because of the event, I could not easily just reschedule, wait or find another place that short notice. So, in this case, I believe businesses (all) need to take responsibility and accountability for a clients waste of time and money and do something to compensate for these kind of mistakes. If we as consumers, continue to allow these businesses to not take responsibility, nothing is going to change. (my opinion) - so in that, I asked the one person working the salon to forward a request to the owner to contact me and to make this right, compensate me for my 80 minutes lost on a busy day, which my time is valuable, and for my gas. If the owner contacts me I will update my review to advise at least that part. In regards to my lost time, and not getting my hair style for my event - that part...
Read moreI made an appointment for 4:30 on 8/31 (this info is for management, so they can see who was and maybe correct their employees that were working at this time). I showed up 5 minutes early and just looked around at the products waiting for someone to come out. I could her them talking away and having a good time in the back. After 10 minutes my cell phone rang (I let it ring through since it was loud and just spam). I hoped it would get someone's attention and I thought surely they heard that and would realize they had a customer. Nope. I didn't want to yell back to get their attention, it's not my duty to get them to come out and do their job. So I took a seat and waited another 10 minutes and during this time still no one bothered to check the front. So I just googled other hair salons while I waited and made an appointment elsewhere. I left this salon completely unnoticed, despite my booked appointment. This was my second attempt to get my haircut here, last week I showed up at the time I booked but taped to the door was a note saying " due to unforeseen circumstances they had to close the store for the rest of the day"... I'm guessing it was the same employees. I do not recommend wasting...
