Unfortunately, I got a small inedible piece of rope in my Chicken Curry. See attached picture. They also overcharged me more money than their menu price for the to go order and initially tried to refund me the menu price before tax. I regret tipping them the $5 for the to go order after this experience especially considering they plaid the game of, when I asked them for change to give them a tip via a $20 dollar bill and specifically asked for a 10, a 5 and 5 single 1 dollar bills they told me they had no ones intentionally leveraging me to tip them a full $5.00 when I really only wanted to tip them 3 or 4 on a to go order. This place has lost any future business from me.

This is a classic restaurant here in the Springs. They've been around for a long time now and for good reason. Even though they have changed their staff a couple of times, perhaps even management, they have managed to be consistent with their service, food, and prices. So, if you're the kind of person that doesn't like surprises and loves consistency, this is your safe spot for Chinese food. I was happy to see that, recently, they have included Thai food in their menu. Staff is always friendly, food is good, prices are more than reasonable, and it's a pretty decent ambiance. Overall, great place.

I'll start by saying their egg drop soup was pretty tasty despite being the brightest yellow I've ever seen. Probably the same color yellow as the stomach bile I'll be heaving up later. The pad Thai was COVERED in peanuts. Like a solid layer covering the top of the container. Once I scraped the peanuts off, the dish was huge chunks of eggs with lots of mystery meat, hardly any noodles, and no flavor at all. No spice, no seasoning, nothing. It was garnished with a dried out lime wedge. I tried to just pick out and eat the noodles until I discovered the bottom was all liquid and lost my appetite.

I placed our online order at 3:13pm for a 530pm delivery on Christmas eve as we figured earlier would be better as they will probably be busy. 6pm rolls around and no food. I call the restaurant and the phone just rings and rings, maybe after calling 8x I get someone and tell them we had a 530 delivery and still don't have our food. She took my name and # and said a manager would call me right back as they only handle online orders. I wait 20 minutes and still no call. Food is now 50 minutes late. I call back 10x no answer. I use my husband's phone and they answer. They tell me the same thing a manager will call. This time I get the call and I ask if our food is coming as it's almost an hour late now. The manager says yes maybe it's on it's way, I say maybe? She says yes we've been busy. I then ask is the food coming and she said yes on it's way and I ask for some form of compensation as we've waited for over an hour and she says ok. 15 minutes later I receive an email stating my refund has been issued... the food never came. I asked for some compensation since it was taking so long and I guess they just never planned on delivering our food. Talk about super frustrated that they didn't seem to care and hungry kids looking forward to dinner that never came. Terrible customer service. We've dined here for years but will...

So I've been eating here for years and typically had no problems or when I do they fix it. Last two times I ordered my food was awful. First time I just let it go because everyone has off days right? So I gave them another chance tonight and that was a huge mistake. Not only is my food disgusting and inedible but I tried to call and see if they would fix it. After calling for 20 minutes and no one picking up I finally got through and the only thing more disgusting than the food is the attitudes of the employees and manager. They argued with me said they are short staffed and were unwilling to rectify the situation. They hung up on me after saying they were going to put me on hold and speak to a manager. Then I call back and shocker no one would pick up. So I called from my husbands phone and spoke to an employee who said they would refund me for 1 meal (2 were messed up) I wanted a replacement because it is dinner for us tonight. So long story short don't give these rude people your business. I'm out $65 and still have to figure out what's for dinner! New china kitchen 2 is way better and they are not rude they actually care about their customers. DO...

The price seems high for the dinner item ordered. The mixed seafood dish ($17.75) did not contain much seafood, although it tasted good. The crab, advertised as King Crab was actually artificial crab meat. The dish contained several cubes, which tasted like they were made from egg. It had four shrimp and few scallops; it did have a fair amount of mushrooms, which were good. The Combination Lo Mein dish ($12.75) was small and served with rice. The noodles were actually linguine pasta, NOT Lo Mein noodles. There were two shrimp in it, three small pieces of beef and two pieces of shredded chicken. It tasted good, but was a bit dry. The egg rolls were acceptable, but did not contain much filling. The crust was very good. The fried wontons had hardly any filling, they were mostly fried dough. It seems that the meals were prepared with the aim of maximizing their profit at the expense of providing quality/value, and serving small portions at a higher than normal price. We will not be ordering anything from Tsing Tao House...
