Mama Poke — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

We picked up food from Mama Poke last night, for the first time, and were pleasantly surprised.

First, the parking was adequate and close to the restaurant. I was the only person in the restaurant when I went in and I said that I was there for an online order under my name...I mentioned that I'm sure it's not ready yet, but I can pay (it was more than 10 minutes before the estimated ready time), but my food was all ready to go! So, anyway, I was back home before I had even expected to pick up the food (really nice)!

We ordered a couple of poke bowls and a couple of appetizers and each item was fresh and tasty. I don't have too much to compare to, but these items definitely had a nice, strong flavor and texture. One thing to mention: the spicy tuna actually is quite spicy (great for us, but might be a surprise to some people).

In my opinion, the prices are a little steep (especially for kids items), but that's the world we're living in, now...

All in all, this was a nice experience and we'll certainly...

This is the 4th time we have made our way up north just to eat here. The mama special poke bowl is amazing it's my go to the last three times there is something about the sauce in the poke bowl is amazing but this time I tried the ramen and the ramen was amazing the soup base alone for the ramen was amazing and the freshness of the vegetables used in the ramen was amazing Everytime we've gone we've gotten the BBQ pork buns and I will tell you the best pork buns I've had in town. We also got their home made kimchi and man was that great you can taste all the time and effort that was put in that kimchi was tasty. My favorite person is the lady who has always served us I can't remember her name but I will definitely have to ask the next time I am in but she is always sweet and amazing She always makes the experience there even better. I would like to thank her so much for making all my trips there always amazing...

I just moved into some apartments nearby and so just got takeout. We tried the chicken egg rolls, California roll, salmon poke bowl, mama poke bowl, gyoza and the shrimp tempura noodle bowl.

I really loved the attention to detail on everything - great cooks on things, knifework/bite size pieces, great crispness on my egg rolls, the quality of bowls/ramikens/sushi roll containers, and temperatures were right. Everything I ordered was excellent and fresh. I loved the flavor on my salmon bowl. They are just in a strip mall off Woodman near the King Soopers. Had I not come in, I wouldn't have seen it from the street.

It was done within the 20 minutes they promised online when I ordered, and they are family run. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend and I'll take photos next time...
