La Casita Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

If I could give this place zero Stars I would. I pulled up into the restaurant at 6 o'clock and then sat at the speaker for over 20 minutes when I finally gave up and decided not to get my food I tried to pull through the drive-thru but they were two cars in front of me and I got blocked in by another car. I sent my son and to try to order but the guy told him he had told me to wait and walked away from hum. Got out of my car and told the guy that I have been waiting almost 30 minutes and had not yet gotten an order he basically shuged his shoulder and walked away from me. When the car in front of me finally moved I asked to speak to the manager. Her name was Tina and she was very rude and disrespectful. She sarcastically told me she was sorry and when I told her she wasn't acting like it she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. So basically two of your employees just dismissed what was happening and completely walked away and left me sitting there with no resoulition. Completly horrible customer service... these people should not even be allowed to work behind the counter I will never go to your restaurant again. To have two of your employees act like that to somebody who is trying to place an order is beyond me I am completely baffled and it is now 6:45 so I've spent a total of 45 minutes at your establishment with no dinner I'm leaving to go to Taco Bell. Good luck with your employees at this location I've had bad customer service from them before but never to the point where I would want to rant about it on the internet but tonight...

It pains me to leave such a poor review as I eat here often. Today I had a very, very poor experience with the team that was working here today. I usually either order through the drive through or, when I don't have time, I use Doordash. Today I used Doordash. Every other time I have used that service, salsa was always included with my order without me selecting salsa in the app (and there isn't an option to add salsa in app just so we re clear). Today I did not receive the salsa. When I called to bring the issue to the stores attention, the "general manager" Michael Brennan was extremely rude over the phone. He raised his voice to me when he asked for my name which I responded to the first time he asked for it. He asked for it at least another three times raising his voice each time. Then he butchered my name after I clearly said it every time he asked. He said that the doordash order did not say to include salsa. I would understand if a) they had a salsa option on their menu in Doordash b) if every other time I had ordered, the salsa was also not included. I will make it clear that every other order via Doordash before this instance included salsa. Seems that he did not want to take responsibility. Again he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He even hung up on me. I will not be supporting this store any longer due to the poor experience...

We stopped by for lunch, and I ordered a chicken fajitas burrito. The burrito was much smaller than I was anticipating, and there wasn't much at all to the burrito. Just some chicken, cheese, and lettuce. The tortilla seemed a bit small, and the burrito was sort of opened up instead of wrapped tightly. The chicken didn't have any seasoning on it, so the burrito taste was rather bland. I threw some hot sauce on there to give it some flavor. This seemed like a very basic burrito for someone averse to flavors who couldn't put something simple together at home more than what you'd get at a restaurant. The horchata had a good cinnamon flavor. The restrooms were clean. I also tried a plain homemade tortilla, which was thicker than any I've had before and smaller than I would have thought it would be if I hadn't just eaten a small burrito wrapped up in a tortilla. It was tasty but didn't leave me thinking I just wanted another homemade tortilla from here the way I have in the past with other homemade tortillas. The person we were there with said there used to be a salsa bar here, and there was a setup for it. I suspect that would have been a nice way to customize the flavor of the food, so it was a bummer that...
