It's an okay park at best, imo. Attached right at the backyard of an apartment complex and a school, it's basically an extended backyard for both that's just open to public use. The playground is tiny and they lack trees/shade so going any other time outside the late afternoons is bound to get scorching hot. The views are severely lacking compared to other parks in the Springs within a 10-minute drive radius. Spacious parking area though. Unless you live in the units nearby, I wouldn't recommend this park for you.

Just took a walk with my friend and her dog after church, and discovered this to be a nice, clean, pet friendly place. I was able to enjoy a peaceful and refreshing walk.

Great park for toddlers! Choo Choo Train themed. Bathroom and picnic tables available. (Although sometimes homeless people at tables, so be aware) Overall good park.

I really like this park but I am not going to stop by anymore. I took my dog and we were walking o n the sidewalk on the street side of the baseball field. There is trash everywhere and someone is living under that under pass under Carefree. They have a cart and they dont throw away their garbage and I stepped in human waste in the grass right there. How disgusting! Not only that but there was a family or whatever with 2 dogs and 2 kids. One guy was riding his dirt bike through the whole grass area while one of the dogs chased it off leasehold. As soon as my dog saw that, she to wanted to join in on the fun. I had to leave before she did her business because there were too many distractions like those, which shouldn't be there in the first place. She almost pulled her leash out of my hand and got away from me. What if the guy riding the dirt bike didn't see her and ran her over in the freaking grass in the middle of the park?!?! My dog also has gotten sick from there and I do not let her eat things. Please clean this place up because it has gone down...

We take our dog there to run as much as we can :) Palmer park is far to walk too, and as long as you pick up your dogs droppings at this park, people don't mind it. Anyone who goes and doesn't pick up your dogs droppings (Yea, I've watched TONS of people do this) Please remember this isn't JUST A PARK it is the soccer / lacross field for the SCHOOL and your dogs droppings could make a kid sick or the kid could fall during these games and get your dogs droppings on them. Pick. Up. YOUR....
