I had visited this location yesterday because I wanted a nose piercing. I went in and did the paperwork and everything and got it pierced. I thought it was all done and good. Later that night I was confused about the care and decided to call and ask Sara, the woman who did the piercing, and ask a couple questions. As soon as the piercing was done she told me to call her for anything. I did call and they said she was gone. It was late so I decided to wait for the morning. Today I remembered that my doctor for my oral surgery that was coming up in a couple of days made a note of not wearing any jewelry. I had totally forgot and was worried about taking the piercing out. I called the store again and asked for Sara once more. They told me "she don't work here no more." Exact words. So I decided to just ask for a person that does piercings. I spoke to someone and she seemed very annoyed and displeased to be speaking to me. I asked her if there was anything I could do and she said I could get it replaced with plastic and then get it replaced again after the surgery was done. After recieveing that information I decided to get a second opinion. I called Pens and Needles and this man who actually sounded informed gave me totally different information. He told me that a piercing should not be changed so frequently right after it's pierced and that plastic is the worst material to put in a puncture wound. He said he would replace it with a glass retainer and get me taken care of. Of course I chose that. When I got there he informed me that the piercing job that was done was pretty bad. The angle of the piercing was down and that means it would take long to heal, changing jewelry would be difficult, and that I would only be limited to studs for hoops would not fit. I was extremely disappointed to hear this because the rings that I was most excited to wear were hoops. I ended up taking the piercing out not even 24 hrs later. I DO NOT recommend this place. They failed to their jobs and are very sketchy for having the person that did my piercing to just miraculously not work there anymore after telling me 10 times to call with any questions. I don't trust this place....

inside is very nice and the people are nice, ive gotten 6 piercings from here (4 lobes, conch and septum) the past visits have been fine, a kind man pierced my lobes several years ago and they healed well. another piercer named Jazz pierced my conch 2 months ago and that was also fine, other than the piercer gave no warning before shoving the needle in my ear. my biggest problem was my most recent visit for my septum, they were nice but the piercer, Miranda did not mark my nose, look at my anatomy or search for my sweet spot, they just clamped and pierced immediately. i have 13 piercings including a tongue piercing and the septum hurt the absolute worst out of all of them. it’s also way far back in my nose. about 15 minutes after the piercing, one of the balls fell out (externally threaded balls) which should not be used for a fresh piercing. also their website is extremely wrong for pricing, it says $20 for majority of their piercings including septum but inside the prices are very different, $50 for a septum which is fine, that’s an average price just frustrating that there’s a $30 cost difference when you get there not only all that, but additional concerns were expressed to the shop about cleanliness and health code standards and they conveniently don’t have any substantiation that health code protocols were followed other than the piercers recollection vs the clients observations. also gave no aftercare instructions.
edit: went in to talk to them today, chris the piercer looked at it and confirmed that it was placed wrong and was very kind listening to me explain. also talked to alyssa and sanita and they were super kind and understanding. if you get pierced ask for chris or alyssa, they were...
Read moreThis is by far the most frustrating and unprofessional place to get a piercing from. I called last night to see if I could get a piercing and no one answered the phone. I decided to go anyways and around 9 pm, I arrived. When I walked in, immediately, from across the room an employee shouts “we’re not taking any more piercings tonight” alright, weird because there was about 2 hours before they closed and barely anyone in the lobby. I told them that I called and no one answered to which he responded “oh we don’t have a receptionist, but we open at 11 am”
I left and planned on going again today, around 3 pm, I called to see if there was anyone available and my call went straight to voicemail 3 times before someone answered. When someone finally picked up the phone, I asked if any piercers available and the man on the phone said “the piercer is about to finish what they’re doing and go for lunch, they won’t be back until after 6 pm” Mind you, by 9 pm yesterday, they were not taking anyone else AND he said they don’t do appointments.
So I’m just supposed to walk in and hope to be seen because they don’t have a receptionist who can take names and numbers and apparently, they won’t do appointments. I’m not waiting hours on end for a simple tongue piercing, it’s literally not worth it, when the paperwork and piercing take 15 minutes tops. It’s beyond me why I couldn’t be seen last night, there were literally 5 people in the lobby and 3 employees.
I wouldn’t recommend this place just because of the lack of management there seems to be, there’s no organization, or regard for customers time or having a sensible scheduling procedure. The price of this place isn’t worth it, I’d give 0 stars if I could. Inkline and Pens & Needles are much better places to...
