Where do I begin? I got my nails done here yesterday for Valentineâs Day 02/14/22. I booked an appointment for opening time because I had a busy day ahead of me. I arrived promptly at 9:30 when my appointment was scheduled for. I stood outside for about 8 minutes because they werenât open yet. Comes to find out no one was inside. The owner pulled up behind my car and opened the door and walked inside. All his workers were waiting in their cars waiting for him to arrive. I found this extremely unprofessional. But this wasnât the first unprofessional thing that happened. I gave them about 3 minutes to get things together and I walked in. As I sat down and got my nails done, I heard one of the nail technicians talking on the phone as he was doing a clients nails. He was shouting at someone because the WiFi was down! Couldnât someone else handle this situation quietly at the back where the customers couldnât hear? I get my nails done to relax not to hear someone shouting. Next thing I know I am ready to check out and they have no means to take my money besides CASH. Couldnât they have said something before I sat down? Iâm assuming it was because the internet was down. Then this is the worst part. They made ME WALK to the gas station across the freeway to get cash from an atm. I wanted to drive and they told me âNO YOU WALKâ I said what the heck!? What kind of customer service is this?! I walked over while cars were zooming back and forth and then I grabbed the cash and brought it back. I could only pull out $80. My ticket was $75. I also asked for 10% discount for their Valentineâs Day special. They looked upset because I asked. Why advertise if you donât want to apply the discount? The lady told me âok 8 dollars off your ticketâ so I needed change and she didnât want to give me change! I rolled my eyes and said just keep it. I proceeded to my car and left and I will never EVER go back to this place. It was horrific. Worst nails experience. I also forgot to mention the woman that did my nails hurt me like 3-4 times. I have cuts around my nails. I was so annoyed! No way will I be back. Beware...

They offer different option on ways to fix my experience. I decided to take them up on fixing my nails. Im totally satisfied with them now, the owner was the one to service me. He also informed me that quick actions were taken. The contaminated wax was discarded and employee was removed from services until further training. I really appreciate Purelux for taking the time to acknowled my concerns. I updated the review by 2 stars because they've taken quick action to fix the problem. As a thank you they offered a free fill on them.
start by saying i was a walk in. Staffing was attentive and polite. Pedicure was great 10/10 so far. First hiccup came when nail service started. There was a miss communication from the type of service i asked than what they offered. I looked pass it as anyone can make an error. The quality of the nails was not it. Top look fine but bottom is super sloppy to the point white french tips are fading already, almost looks like a fill vs a new set. This is 3 hrs after services are done.
I had to walk out of my last service a Eyebrow waxing. 1st she didnt clean area she was going to wax then after laying first strip i caught her double dipped. Meaning she applied wax to face and then dipped the stick into wax again. They offer full waxing services here, she was way to comfortable double dipping. Once i realized she was double dipped i stopped my service. She only pulled out multiple dipping sticks after i called her out on it. I did inform owmer/management and asked for her to be retrained. If you do get a waxing service here please pay attention they are not double dipping, that is basic 101 of waxing and hygiene.
Unfortunately i won't be going here again..Wish them the best, hopefully hygiene practices improve immediately.
This post is aprox 4 hrs after...
Read moreM-Nails used to be my amazing salon when I lived in Colorado Springs, I took all of my friends and visitors there. I came back for a baby shower and went with friends, to now called Purelux, to get mani pediâs. While there my friends water was so hot, she asked for them to add cold water and they smiled at her and walked away, she asked a second time and they put a splash of cool water. Her feet were lobster red when she took them out and no one acknowledged how hot the water was. I was getting tips put on my fingers and getting dip, after the process had started I asked if she was going to get my cuticles and she said I hadnât asked, I have never gotten a manicure where my cuticles werenât attended to so I didnât realize I had to ask (it was explained to me after the fact). I had these services on a Thursday for a baby shower on Saturday. Saturday morning I woke up and a nail fell off while opening toothpaste and a second one fell off while wiping my hands on a towel, I was on my way to the party so I super glued them on. The next day 2 more nails fell off. I called them because I was getting ready to leave (I now live in WI) and asked them to refund some (not all) of my money and remove what nails were left as I did not have time to get them redone. He said that they have a no refund policy but they could redo them. I again explained that I am from out of town and did not have the time. He again stated they have a no money back policy. I am SO disappointed at how much I paid for nails that lasted 2 DAYS! (Another one fell off on the plane on the way home) I will not return, I will tell all of my local friends not to go. New name, worse quality!
Update, 1 week after getting them done I have...
