The Warriors Fitness Center needs to change its name because a Warrior isn't it.

Lack of communication, tactfulness, and empathy from the instructors and the management are abysmal. An incident with an instructor where I was the target of unnecessary drama where the instructor was intentionally trying to injure me in a beginner's class. Led to me wanting to speak with management, the front desk assured me someone would reach out and speak to me. 24 hours later I'm the one reaching out to speak to the manager. I ended up speaking to the owner who gas lit the conversation. myself lending out pads to other beginners and also training my shins without guards, is against the rules according to the owner. Yet the rules state I'm able to train in the gear I wish to train in, see last paragraph for rules. The owner contradicts himself by saying the new people don't have to wear them yet can still do the same training with far less conditioned shins. Not knowing their own rules and applying rules to one specific student because "I said so" is bullying.

Sanitation of the mat and gear isn't a priority. 3 weeks of training and the instructor cannot identify what are the clean towels and what are not. cleaning up after myself is a priority. however, it is not for the instructors as they can not identify clean towels for dirty ones or ensure people are cleaning gym gear. which enables everyone to use dirty ones.

I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone trying to become a "Warrior" as you will be limited by the contradictory rules and word of mouth, as well as pushing your limits unless you're a couch potato looking for something to play at being a "warrior". Toughness, ambition and empathy get thrown out the window at this gym. Gym is truly a joke for anyone who is strong minded surrounded by soft people.

*Students will be expected to provide and maintain their own training gear, to include but not spe- cifically limited to gloves, pads, gi, tape, mouth guard, hand wraps, shorts, rashguard, and any other protective gear or clothing they wish to compete or train in. All gear will be service- able and will not be baggy or have pockets so as to not catch training partners limbs...

Warrior is a fantastic MMA gym with world class jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Ben and Larry stand out as world class jiu jitsu instructors. Incredible knowledge and instruction with very well thought out class structures. This combo will optimize your time spent learning so that you'll advance as quickly as possible in this complex sport. Special call out to Ben for deep and detailed knowledge with an ability to teach and explain extremely cogently and clearly in a way that is sensible and easy to understand. Larry is also extremely knowledgeable, with strong patience and a calming energy that makes students, especially newer students, comfortable in an environment that can be intimidating for beginners.

On the Muay Thai/Kickboxing side, Kay is fantastic. She has the ability to lead class with confidence and clarity while also paying close attention to each group and providing frequent and consistent individual advice and feedback to each student.

The kids program is also outstanding and has the benefit that adults can take class while the kids are in class. Kids classes are all well staffed by extremely knowledgable and competent instructors. There is a very well thought out structure to advance kids skills as quickly as possible and the kids are well disciplined and well behaved in class. There is a great reward system as well with call outs to help incentivize good behavior and strong practice, and to help build confidence with the kids.

Finally, for those interested in competing in jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing or MMA, it's a great option. The diversity of classes and attention to detail assure success. Advice will be tailored to you to help make sure you're properly prepared. They have trained world class fighters and will give you the attention required if you have what it takes to compete at any level.

Overall, A+...

I've been to another gym in the area and have heard of countless others. From day one this training family took me in hitting the ground sprinting. Though I have been around the Springs a short time this gym from what I've seen and have personally experienced, is the best around. Majority of the students compete themselves and the instructors are by far the most relatable caring ones I've seen in a long while at a MMA training gym. They are just as dedicated as you are. When it comes to having the drive to compete expect realistic 💯 expectations from the coaches. There is no sugar coating with fighter training as far as being family friendly, they pass the vibe check for that too. You don't need to be a fighter to experience a healthy high tempo workout, the environment as a whole will definitely be missed when you end up leaving the springs. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone to swing by can't hurt to take advantage of their free week trial. They also have kids classes for the parents looking to tire out those little ones to crash when...

I really enjoy the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes and culture at Warrior Fitness Center. My children and I have been training here for several years, and I am always impressed that no matter who comes in, they always leave having learned something. Any given class, you could be training with regional or National champions and medalists, but they are always working to improve themselves and their training partners.
