The food here is overall excellent, my friends really enjoyed their meals while I sipped on tea, I am vegetarian and was not interested in trying anything on the menu today! The service here was absolute terrible. The young waitress told us how bad her job is, how tired she was and overall she didn't want to work, she just had a horrible additude. I didn't order, she asked why, I remarked with her words I didn't want to give her more work to do, she said she was bored and didnt mind, I told her I was fine (mind you there was a table covered in rice that really took away from tge cleanliness of the facility). My friend tried asking for sauce, she treated him so disrespectfully because she didn't understand what he was asking for, her remark was "I only speak spanish"! We were stunned to get our hot tea with some hair in it. The view is nice if you catch a seat by the windows, the interior seemed upkept although there were fruit flies. I reccomend ordering your food to go and not dining in here.

It's OK, but it used to be so much better. I'm not sure if the business changed hands or if they just got a different chef, but the food used to be better... and I realize that inflation hits us all, but their skyrocketed prices and sinking food quality have determined that I will eat elsewhere when I want Vietnamese. Nov 2024 update: dropping my review to 1 star Silly me, I tried to give it another shot. The contents of my "large" seafood pho to go were a whole whopping 2 shrimp, 2 mussels, 1 fishball cut in halves, 2 measly cuts from a block of surimi, 4 slices of carrots, and 4 little broccoli florets. That's it. And the actual pho broth that I have always loved was salty to the point of being inedible. And just so you know, all of this nothing can be yours for only $18 before tip.

my partner and I are originally from minnesota so we’ve been spoiled by amazing vietnamese and pho restaurants, so it was hard finding a good pho place but i can confidently say this is the best Pho spot in colorado springs!! the broth was flavorful and balanced, steak and brisket were tender but not chewy, and the noodles were bouncy. This is a honest family business and you can tell they have pride in their food. Prices are very reasonable for portion sizes. I also recommend the fresh squeezed limeade to pair with the pho! i can see why it’s rated #1

We were referred by a friend who recommended we check out this establishment. They told us to check out the egg rolls and the Pho. We arrived at 830pm, well before the posted 9pm closing time. There were still a few customers eating. However there wasn't any employees to be seen. We waited for a minute and decided that we would take an empty table. As we were about to sit down, the cashier came out and rudely pointed to us to sit down at the next table. She literally threw the menus on the table and walked away. While we were looking at the menu, she brought over 2 glasses of water and left without a word. She came back to take our order and still wasn't polite. We decided to pass on the egg rolls due to the fact that they are overpriced ($6 and $7 for 3 depending on your choice). She brought out our appetizer but didn't bring out the garnishment for the bowls of pho. She brought out our bowls of pho and we mentioned that we needed the garnishments. She mumbled under her breath and yelled at another employee to bring it out. At this point, we were debating whether we were ever coming back. If it wasn't for the other employee who brought our garnishment dish, we would rate our visit with only one star. The Pho was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the seafood combination pho bowl didn't disclose the various types of seafood that were in the dish. The other employee went well above and beyond to ensure that we knew a little bit about the history of Pho and how her culture lived. She turned a horrible visit due to the cashier and turned our visit in to 2 stars. We will give it one more try and I will update my review...

On 09/20/2018 I went to the restaurant on 3071 S. Academy Blvd Co Springs Co 80916 I ordered a seafood Pho and egg rolls the bag was tied and I was running late on my lunch break so I grabbed my bag and left. I sat down about 10 minutes later at my desk about to eat the egg roll and I couldn't they were so full of grease I expected grease but not to this magnitude. I was oozing out of the egg rolls so I was like I can't eat this because overly greasy food messes with my stomach bad. So I was like at least I have the PHO... So I take out the broth and warm it up and put the veggies in the bowl so I can pour over the broth so the cilantro was wilted bad and the mussels were full of a black substance I can not identify and I'm from the south we love mussels but never in my 37 years on this earth have I ever seen a mussel like this one so I threw all the food away except the mussel I kept them to take back so I called and they said I had to talk to the owner she would be in today so Today I took the mussel back in a cup and I told the lady up front my complaint about the food and she waved me away got all upset telling me she didn't work that day its nothing she can do and she wasn't giving me anything back to come back when the owner was there. The lady for so rude the girl sitting at the table walked out and was like she has rude to me too. Amy please investigate this problem within your restaurant because this is unacceptable to take people money then it's a big problem when you're asked to right a wrong. Please people stay away from this place because this could be your last . PS you took the wrong...

Horrible experience. (I don’t even want to give them one star, but that’s not an option) Enjoyed the food, but when the end of the meal came and we asked for boxes, the waitress brought the boxes out I went to take them from her and she pushed my hand away, said no I got it and then aggressively started packing our food (btw we weren’t done with it we just wanted the boxes because we had to leave soon and we didn’t want to wait on them to get boxes, we just wanted to box up, pay and leave) it felt like we were being rushed out (it was the middle of the day mind you, they weren’t closing and they had several other customers they didn’t do this too when they asked for boxes - but they were Vietnamese people not white people) it was bad and there was a second incident where we gave it a second chance because we thought maybe she was having a bad day, nope this time around it was even worse, the mistake she made caused my fiancé to have an allergic reaction. She doesn’t listen and she thinks she’s right - sorry lady, that’s no way to run a business. But being who I am I paid for the things that I ate and my drink, oh and I even paid for the item that caused my fiancé’s allergic reaction. We left and took her to the ER. In conclusion it’s a horrible experience, I recommend Saigon Wings. Amazing service, amazing food - and they listen...
