This was the worst experience ever. The cashier didn't know how to work the cash register, nor did he know the prices of the products. He was having problems with customers while I was shopping, but when my turn came it really got crazy. After totaling up my order, l placed my credit card in the reader, verified and approved the transaction. So I was waiting for the receipt and then he said the transaction didn't go through because he didn't get a receipt? That was incorrect. I receive a text notification from my bank whenever a transaction over a certain amount happens. I showed him this on my phone for the exact same amount he charged. Long story short, he apparently didn't hit save and print on his cash register. Before I even got to the cash register a woman came from the back to help him load new register tape. Now another woman came to figure out what happened. She said the order didn't go through. I showed her where it did go through and I was not going to pay twice. A third lady came out and looked my phone showing the transaction. They said (usually) a bank will cancel if they see a duplicate transaction. I said just give me my order and I would leave without a receipt. She asked me to (sign) into my bank account etc. Why is this woman treating me like a scam artist or something, when the guy is telling her he screwed up, but I the customer has to suffer? I think not. This went on nearly an hour. People in line also offering them advice. So the guy called the owner. The owner told him to ring my order again using the same card and method and if it went through to give me a cash refund for the first transaction. So he did, and it went through. I showed this on my phone proving that Wells Fargo's equipment is up to date and deducting transactions. Of course, there were different totals. So he gave me the cash refund, but when I checked my receipt while sitting in my car, he had over charged me $3.99. I didn't have the strength to go back inside. He I really didn't have a problem with. He made a mistake and owned up to it, and (found) a solution. But the woman that came to help him didn't know nada. She wasn't any help at all. I was going to buy some steaks but their porthouses were so thin. I bought a variety box that came with chicken wings, pork ribs, hot links, and 2 packs of bacon. I tried the hickory bacon first. It had a funny taste to it and I am not sure why. My wife wasn't able to eat it. I don't think it was spoiled. I made all the ribs next. It comes with 3lbs of ribs but they are the smallest sections I've ever seen. There was about 6 sections of the small portion of a pork loin rib rack. Each had about 4 bones. And eas about 5 inches im length. Again, the meat had an off taste and I'm not sure why. I made a stock with all the chicken wings as they were tiny and not worth making into party wings. The stock came out very bland without much chicken flavor. I was most looking forward to the hotlinks and they were a huge disappointment.
