Needle and Grain — Local services in Columbia

This has been one of my favorite shops ever since its inception! I knew Bryson and Susan in college and anything they work on turns to gold. 😊 I'm not local to Columbia, but their online shop is always the first place I turn when I'm looking for just the right gift. One Christmas I bought almost all of my gifts exclusively from Needle & Grain, and everyone was so happy with what they received! (I recently picked out the SOFTEST BLANKET IN THE WORLD as a gift to one of my best friends at her wedding shower and she looooved it. Paired with one of the beautiful hymn tea towels and a weekly menu notepad, it was the perfect newlywed present.) Bryson and Susan also add such kind and personal touches to their business, from the way they package their products to the tone in their weekly emails. I absolutely love this little shop. It is owned by the nicest family who truly have a passion for not only their store, but their community. The store is always laid out and decorated so perfectly, and they have an eclectic variety of items. Sometimes they offer classes that always seem to be a big hit! I’ve taken one and had great experience! They try to be sustainable with many of their products and especially with their refill station and I feel like that’s hard to find these days! This is our favorite new store on the square. The products are such high quality and so carefully curated. The entire experience is so fun for the whole family. Everything is laid out for kids to enjoy shopping as much as parents. The bubble machine outside welcoming you into the store is my daughter’s favorite part. Online ordering and store pick up are so convenient. We can’t go to the square without visiting this store. Also they’re so knowledgeable and helpful in picking out gifts and products.
