I want to take a moment to shout out the amazing Sage at Vivid. 🌈 Months ago, way back in May, my daughter asked me if she could get blue hair. I told her if she wanted it badly enough for it to be her birthday gift, that I would look into it. Due to her swimming, etc, I knew I wanted to get it professionally done so it would hold up a little bit longer than a home dye job. Sage did such a great job explaining what was realistically possible to Emma, showing her pictures, was patient with 99 questions per second from my very inquisitive kiddo, and when the first trial disappeared way sooner than expected she got us back in to pivot and try it a different way. Emma loves it even more, and really enjoyed the entire experience. I have never seen her more thrilled with and proud of her own appearance and it honestly gave me life. Sage, your professionalism and customer service were top notch and I’m really grateful her first real, major salon experience was with you. Thanks for making her birthday...
Read moreWent to get my hair cut into a mullet, I come home and notice that one side of the back is longer than the other side. Thankfully I live right down the street, I drive back to the salon and Kristen evens it out but now that I’ve had the haircut for a day I’m noticing everything that’s wrong with it. The sections of short hair on either side of my head are different shapes, and now because one side of the back of my head was cut short and had to get the other to match, I didn’t get to keep the length that I wanted. The top of my head has the longest hair and it all feels a little disproportionate. My first haircut here was great. I’m not sure what happened with this second one, but even after having to return once for corrections, it’s not right. I’m disappointed in the cut I paid $60 for. I’m embarrassed to leave the house without a hat until I find a new place to fix my hair, or just shave it again and start over. Either way, I don’t see myself returning to this salon...
Read moreWhat kind of place says they do ethnic hair but botches it, blames the customer, and still makes them pay for it? Oh and says "We felt bad for you after you left." How is that professional and taking care of the customer? I've worked customer service for years, still do, and have always, despite what the customer may or may not have done worked to remedy the situation. Yes, refund included for far more than $30 and $40. Because my name is attached to that work and how I took care of that customer. I can't even say that about this salon. You want the best taking care of your hair being sure they can deliver and when you walk in they tell you different things and then perform differently sending their client out of their way to another salon to fix their problem and having to spend even more money. Only to be told how simple the hair style was and how the styles her botched the cut. Not professional at all and should have been honest instead of cheating the customer for...
