The Chick-fil-A at 901 Harden Street of Columbia South Carolina gave me a great fast food restaurant experience, and exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Here's why I liked this Chick-fil-A:
This Chick-fil-A is easy to find, and has accessible parking. During all meals parking can get hard to come by. Thankfully, there's a shopping mall right beside this Chick-fil-A that has plenty of parking. If you don't want to park, then there's also a drive through that has prompt and quality service; and the drive thru ensures you have the right meal that was ordered every time.
Whether you dine in or go through the drive thru this Chick-fil-A has employees that are prompt, professional, courteous, helpful, tactful, and knowledgable. Every time I have eaten at this Chick-fil-A all employees that I have ever dealt with go above and beyond for me; and I have never had an incorrect order (dine in and carry out). Chick-fil-As customer service is untouchable when it comes to promptness, professionalism, and courtesy. I have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for my food (dine in and carry out) at Chick-fil-A at 901 Harden Street in Columbia South Carolina.
Chick-fil-A has such a wide variety to choose from on their menu that I could eat their everyday and every meal. They have an extremely healthy to moderately healthy menu, and something for everyone. With the variety there is also freshness that comes with it. It doesn't matter if you get the chicken biscuit for breakfast, chicken wrap for lunch, or cobb salad for dinner, it's always fresh; and it gets better and fresher every time. Chick-fil-A always has the freshest chicken out of any restaurant I have ever been to (fast food and regular restaurants). Chick-fil-A also has the freshest vegetables and fruits out of any restaurant I have ever been to. I personally feel that for the amount of variety, freshness of all food products, and cleanliness, that Chick-fil-A is very affordable. Let's not forget about the amazing milkshakes that Chick-fil-A has to offer, and no other restaurants can come close to matching. Unlike other restaurants, Chick-fil-A doesn't have a problem of mixing their milkshake flavors. If you order a vanilla milkshake then you get vanilla, there's no nasty chocolatey taste from the switching of nozzles.
Every time I dine in at the Chick-fil-A at 901 Harden Street of Columbia South Carolina there is excellent speed of service, fresh food, great customer service, great climate control, and great seating. The atmosphere at Chick-fil-A is welcoming and pleasing, and this is why I will continue to go back time and time again. This Chick-fil-A is also very clean throughout the restaurant, and the bathrooms are also clean.
Finally, no other fast food restaurant can compete with Chick-fil-As quality of food, freshness, and customer service. That's why I will always choose and trust Chick-fil-A over other fast food restaurants. Thanks...
Read moreI'm afraid this is going to be a rare negative review of Chick-fil-A. Well, it's going to be a negative review of this particular location. I ordered a cobb salad with no cheese. This has never been a problem at any Chick-fil-A I've ever visited. But this time, the response was, "I'm sorry. We don't have any prep workers here right now so we can't take any orders that make changes to the menu items." I was quite surprised by this response. I looked into the fully staffed kitchen and wondered how a prep worker differs from other kitchen staff. I had to place an alternate order.
The difficulties didn't end there. My wife and I both ordered unsweet teas (diets! Bah!). The teas we were given were sweet, so I went to the counter, explained the mistake, and they replaced the sweet teas. With sweet teas. "Third try. These are sweet. We need unsweet teas." "I'm so sorry!" They kindly replaced the sweet teas. With sweet teas. By the fourth try, I was a bit perturbed. The server then tasted the tea in the unsweet tea urn; it was sweet. In fact, the employee who had prepared the tea apparently swapped sweet for unsweet tea urns in both the inside serving area and in the drive-through. So, many people had apparently received the wrong kind of tea for the last couple of hours. This, then, was not the front line's fault.
These problems indicate a systemic problem of training and leadership. This is not the type of service Chick-fil-A is known for. But it is a warning not to visit the Harden...
Read moreI went to the drive thru and ordered 2 egg and cheese's on a biscuit with no meat, just the egg and cheese, along with hash browns and 2 coffees. I arrive home and eat the hash browns and drink the coffee which were fine. It was then I opened both of my egg and cheese sandwiches and failed to realize that the young lady taking my order must’ve put it in as a sausage egg and cheese. I take it back to the restaurant and received a refund of $1.72 to compensate for the overcharge as well as my egg and cheeses remade. I negligently waited until I got home to open my sandwiches again and I was met with the most ill prepared egg and cheese biscuits I’ve ever received from a Chick Fil A, of all of my many years going and getting the same order. FIRST OF ALL I was given egg whites…and they look thrown together. Neither sandwich was hot as you can probably tell from the picture. The cheese was not nearly melted. The biscuits were not hot. The only thing nearly warm was the egg whites. I decided to try one and as expected it was disgusting to me personally. No slack to the young lady taking the order, as the manager mentioned someone needing to teach her how to put that specific order in, so she must be new. The young lady taking orders to the cars was very nice as well. But to remake my order a second time for it to be just as bad??? Quite pissed. Won’t be ordering breakfast...
