I usually shop at Yasmin's on Cleveland Ave, but since it was a quick stop for one item, I decided to try them out and patronize them. I walked in and the store was empty, and in the middle of one of the aisles was a guy on the phone speaking loudly and pacing back and forth. His phone was on speaker, and he was so loud that wherever I went in the store (and I walked all the aisles looking for the item), I could hear him. He was so loud and obnoxious that I quickly went to checkout with only one item, which is unusual for me, as I usually walk into an international grocery store for one item, and walk out with multiple because something else caught my fancy. I asked the lady at the checkout if he was an employee and she said yes. She on the other hand, was also on her phone and kept up her conversation the entire time she was checking me out. Needless to say, the level of customer service is nil, and I'll probably never go there again, and instead go the short distance to Yasmin's. The only good thing out of the store visit was the one employee who was stocking shelves and greeted me when I first walked in. No other employee acknowledged my presence or offered help, because they were busy on personal phone...
