Very very saddened by the lack of respect and the treatment I received today from the lady that evidently oversees and or harass People with pets. My wife daughter and I went to the market this morning around 9:30am decided to take are 2 year old German shepherd with us , the most friendliest dog one could ever meet, had him on a military, harness and leash, a tactical vest , because I am a responsible dog owner and always have been, just after entering the market and seeing and talking to a few friends we come across another pup ,with his owner on a leash Rip my boy using his voice decided to bark twice because that’s how he communicates ,,this lady came up to me so rudely and insisted that my dog was aggressive, and that I couldn’t have him there after trying to explain to her that he is the friendliest dog that you would ever meet ,and that I take him to Barkefellers on a regular basis for playtime with the other animals and he has 100% grade rating ,she insisted and continued to be rude and explained that she was going to follow me around or else I needed to leave. I simply got upset with her explaining to her that I wasn’t going nowhere that I had full control of my dog and he was not aggressive, and she needed to leave me alone, after making a big scene. I continue through the market and sit on the outskirts on the corner on a rock she called the police on me after the police showed up and after meeting rip and loving all over him they explained me that they did not understand why they was even called because obviously he is just a big baby, so I explain to them that I walked out here and sit on the rock while my daughter and wife was getting crapes ,he could not believe the overreaction that the lady at the market had also they just lost a great customer because of her...

There were a variety of booths with food and plants and produce. I bought a large bath bomb for $2 which I’m really excited to use, and the woman at that booth gave my toddler a free smiley face hand soap which was adorable. The majority of people were wearing masks and there was someone monitoring that which I really appreciated. However, social distancing was not as well-observed. I was also disappointed that there weren’t bathrooms available, not even...
Read moreMaybe I'm biased as a vendor here, but the downtown farmers market is the place to be on Saturday mornings in Cbus.
A couple of my favorites to visit every week are Dancing Goat Coffee for a morning caffeine boost, Singing Crust Bakery for some fresh baked bread from Emily, Good Seed Farms for local grown herbs, Posies and Pumpkins for flowers to take home for the house or the lady, and lastly locally grown produce from Bush's and Hackman's.
Seriously, come see us every Saturday from May...
