Cozy Lounge — Local services in Columbus

Wish I could serve this place 0 stars considering that on my first visit here, I was served 0 drinks. I wasn't even acknowledged as a paying customer for that matter. I arrive here on a Thursday evening around 11, expecting a great night. The bar is not anywhere near capacity, even according to current covid laws. Needless to say they weren't busy and have 2 bartenders working. I got in line with the two friends that I arrived with and I watched them purchase two beers each... as they leave the line at the bar I step up in their place.. keep in kind there is no one else being served at this moment. As I stood there with my cash and ID in hand, waiting to be served, I witness one bartender, motion to a lady 2 spots behind me in line and proceeds to serve them a drink. While the other bartender is wrist deep in a bag of chips, I witness him turn around, wipe his hands on his shirt and without saying a word to the gentleman standing BEHIND ME, takes his cash and proceeds to serve him. At this point I feel disgusted at the ignorance of basic food service health laws but to be outright ignored as a customer. Ridiculous. In no way is this bar "cozy" or welcoming. I realize now why they call it thirsty thursday at Cozy, it's not the cheap beer, its cause you will get really thirsty due to the fact you don't ever get served...

What a wonderful way to spend New Year’s Eve. My parents used to come here all the time at their old location — it was their favorite bar. My mom even has this old sweatshirt with their logo! I tried to get her a new shirt from them a few weeks back but they said they didn’t have merch - and then lo and behold when we came in on New Years they had red shirts to sell! My mom was so excited.

Anyway, this is the kind of place that is welcoming to anyone willing to chill out and have a good time. There are a wide variety of people who come but it’s not too crowded. I liked the food that we tried and the drinks, though personally I would have liked some more non alcoholic options (not sure if they had any NA beers).

It was a cool place. Bathroom was clean, on a Wednesday night it was pretty empty but that worked well for what I wanted. They have cornhole and pool. Bar staff was cool. I'd go back

UPDATE: went for karaoke night, wasn't crazy crowded but it was busy. Ordered Jalapeno poppers and they were decent Nice and crest with a little kick. Not battered which was great for me. Also order cheesy and bacon fries. The fries were good. Cheese was perfect though the bacon made it a little saltier than I wanted but I'm sensitive to that stuff. Cleanliness was a little lac with spilled beer on tables and sticky floor near the pool tables but nothing atrocious and the bathroom was still good which is important for me. I'd go back and I'd order food again....
