Attempted to exchange diapers at the store today and had a horrendous experience with both the service employee and their supervisor.
Was attempting to exchange under the “no proof of purchase with government ID,” and the service associate would not take my diapers (which are an inventory item at this Target) because she stated they were from another merchant and she wouldn’t accept them. The Department supervisor upheld the associate’s position. However, I know this to be incorrect of the policy. This was confirmed by the corporate customer service department who I spoke to over the phone. They issued me a gift card in the amount of the two boxes I was trying to exchange - no questions asked. (Btw Brandon tried to tell me “there was no one else to speak to about it” - as if he were the GM of this Target or even CEO….) Maybe I’ll call the store tomorrow and see if the GM line rings and Brandon answers. But that probably won’t be the case I suspect.
Ps - the sticker label from “Walmart” that the associate was talking about (which was not from Walmart. I bought zero diapers at Walmart)? It peels off. So, you both are arguing with me over a sticker….that peels off the box of diapers…that you carry in this store.
Would give 1 star, but giving plus 1 for the corporate employee who corrected this issue over the phone before I even left the...
Read moreRude lady at the customer pick up counter! I placed an order for pick up but it wasn’t available at the Target I normally shop out so I drove 45 minutes to Columbus to pick this order up. The store was closing in 5 minutes and the lady who made the announcement was the same person who was handling the pick up counter. When I approached and asked if I could get my order, she rolled her eyes at me, sighed and said well I mean we’re closed or closing in 1 minute. Then gave me a hard time about the barcode however my email didn’t have one. When she finally found the order, she didn’t check my id or anything and said you better go over to the other register to check out since we’re closed (because I grabbed a bag of dog treats when I first got there). She totally could’ve taken care of both but didn’t. Man do I feel like a bad guy for being at target when they were closing. They turned the lights out and everything! It’s crazy to me how I was treated as a customer. I will not be back to this location even if was the last Target on earth. Perhaps she needs to retire or remember why she got a job working in customer service...
Read moreTarget, I loved you but now we have to have a serious convo. Twice I tried the order on line option. First time, I had you guys bring it to my car. I got home and you forgot a whole bag. I had to go back and go inside to get the forgotten items so the whole convenience thing was a bust and the whole avoiding your unmasked shoppers was a bust. Second time, I went inside to pick up my on line order. I went to the counter where it says, in very large letters, On line Orders. A young female glared at me for asking about my order and then vaguely pointed to another counter before turning her back on me. I got the email and the text saying it was ready but it was not even started when I got there so I waited. Then when I got it, it was only half right. Once again you wasted my time and I had to hang around with your nasty, unmasked shoppers. I now do Kroger on line ordering which is correct every...
