RUDE & RACIST towards military veteran. Iāve purchased REAL gold jewelry from various places overseas during my time in the military an decided to get a quote on it all just to see how much I could get if I wanted to sale. As soon as I pulled out my bag of jewelry an gave it to the older man working he began to pull it out piece by piece an with no volume control or hesitation scream āthis is fake, this is fake, this looks fake. I know, Iāve been doing this for 20years, trust meā with basically every piece of my jewelry he pulled out. I then stated, āI guess youāll find out once you perform your testā as he continued to make the claim my items were fake loud enough for everyone in the store to hear an even had the audacity to ask if I purchased from a kiosk in the middle of the mall with a chuckle. I remained respectful an calm an advised him I actually purchased from overseas during my time in the military an I just want a quote. Finally he checks all my jewelry to verify itās real an all jewelry passes the test he performed, yet he stated that he still thought my gold was fake because it didnāt āfeelā right so heās not interested in buying. I told him thatās fine but I donāt need you to buy it, I just wanted a quote. He still didnāt provide one an seemed to be visibly irritated heād been proven wrong by his gold test. My wife took the SAME exact jewelry in the SAME exact location a few months earlier an had ZERO issues walking out with an offerā¦ā¦sheās Asian, Iām Black ā¦ā¦ā¦.wonder why I didnāt walk out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have made great memories over the years and loved this place.New person that I had never seen or dealt with, poured my collection of coins on top of each other and on the glass casing. For instance,1 was a cased gorgeous 1879 S with 1878 reverse Morgan Dollar. Now the case has cracks all over and my coin has changed colors. When I left 45 minutes before closing and irate about the fact that the guy was rude and badly sweating while touching/tossing my coins . He took them all and put them in a bag and started weighing them. I was in shock š³it felt like a dream. I asked for my coins back and stayed a Christian. I ended up with damaged coins and attitude from the employee because he had to prepare for a coin show the next morning. Unfortunately, I went in on the wrong day and the gentleman that I have dealt with for years and is absolutely wonderful was off when I arrived. I even called prior to make an appointment I was told that 1 was not needed. A lot of great memories and flawless coins...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this establishment to sell some jewelry and was basically told my jewelry wasn't worth much, which is fine. The problem I had was with the service rendered and the deception. They were dry, disinterested, and I was informed by the "jeweler" that one of rings had a chipped diamond. He even made a sarcastic statement implying it had been through a lot (wearing and/or banging). Mind you, I rarely wear the ring. Any way, I took it to another more upscaled jeweler yesterday and was privileged to see the stone on camera. The stone was not chipped anywhere. I guess the workers at this place of business are particular about who they choose to treat with courtesy. I went there because of the good reviews but ended up...
