Country Road Buffet — Restaurant in Columbus

BELIEVE EVERY LOW REVIEW ABOUT THIS PLACE! the one's that left 5 stars must not know how to cook. THEY HAVE A LOW SCORE 86! SO THAT RIGHT THERE EXPLAINS ALOT. Whenever, you see a place indicating "NO REFUND" it speaks for itself. So therefore, we waste more food rather than giving us our refund because EVERYTHING WAS DISGUSTING! Food was cold NOT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE TO BE SERVING(fish, chicken and so forth), the broccoli and cheese was sour. NOTHING WAS FRESH! The banana pudding have not been changed out and turned mushy brown alongside many other's food items. We ask for fresh chicken, he brought out cold old chicken. No seasonings on any of the food which so ever. Just because you have slow days you still suppose to prepare fresh food and at it correct temperature(that probably the reason why you don't have customers). My husband got sick and was in the bathroom for a good 25 minutes(felt bad b/c I normally cook). The server was superb 💞 we didn't leave a tip simply because of what we encountered and we felt as if they just took our money. For several months I thought this was a decent place to eat. I would eat there 3 to 4 times a week, then on 5/30/18 as normal I went there for lunch before work. Started enjoying my meal and a ROACH was crawling across my food, I calmly killed it within a napkin and took it to the waitresses to notify them. They seem to care less about it, I then walk to the exit and stopped an explain this calmly and quietly to the owner at the register and she seem to careless. Not even an apology or offer to refund my money. I left immediately for work, while still in my vehicle I looked up the restaurant phone number and called to get an answering machine. I explained to whole situation and left my contact information without getting a return call from them. So sad ...... I hope you enjoy my $10.85 donation for a meal I could not eat...... 😡 To all...

We we're visiting columbus for my sons basic training graduation and really just wanted a decent place to sit and eat and visit. This was the perfect place!! The food was amazing I could live off of just the mac and cheese ! Our group was kinda big we had 7 and everyone found something to love! You could tell that it was fresh and made from scratch. It was clean and even though it was full it was still quiet enough to have a conversation. We were sat quickly and our server was already at the table before we sat ! For the price you can't beat it for 7 people it was under 100 and we all left full and happy ! Go here you won't...
