Updates 9/25 below: I think the establishment is very nice and the atmosphere is excellent. The reason for 2 stars is my family member ordered a salad with shrimp, no croutons, and no cheese. The salad came out with everything it was asked not to have in it. She asked for it to be remade, well they remade it but it still had remnants of cheese, this time no bacon and the same shrimp dumped back in it. So to keep from having to possibly have continued errors, we just asked for the missing bacon to be brought out. There was no offer of a discount or anything to accommodate the repeated errors which I found was odd. Next thing was the establishment filled up and guest continued to come in but because their covered patio needs repairs to stop rainflow that area could not be used to meet their demand. So we were kind of rushed out so they could seat the waiting customers. The table was just cleaned off while we were conversing without even asking if our plates could be taken, yet we had to wait to get the check and wait to pay. So I personally will not return which is unfortunately because the food is good.

Update 9/25: Thank you for your most unkind words to my honest review. As stated the salad was not mine and the order was placed stating what was not to have in the salad (after reading and understanding this is what she wanted but minus certain items listed in it) yet it came out with the items asked not to be put in the salad in them. Then came back out with the items that were not asked to be removed, missing. Yet you blame the customer for mistakes that you all made, interesting. Next I stated, the table was cleaned then we were waiting for a ticket and then had to wait to pay, so I am confused if you wanted us to walk out of your establishment without paying. I have never seen a response so rude from a owner who did not read, nor comprehend what was incorrect to begin with. Reading other reviews I must've just caught them on a bad day 🥺🥺 Because of customer service I gave this place 3 stars. The waitress was very nice and attentive the service was great. I decided to have a cheat day today and induldge in some foods that I know deep down in my spirit I am not supposed to have. So I said F it, imma risk it all today and i ordered the hushpuppies those were pretty good. I really liked them so I said ok we might have a good meal. I ordered the shrimp po boys with a side of fries. And a cheesecake to come out after the meal. Hmm really going in on this cheat day 🤔. The food came out rather fast not bad. I began to eat my shrimp and fries and it was heavy on the salt and very light on the Cajun. I tried to get past it. But the more I ate the worst the saltiness was bothering me. Usually I don't return food i just make it work, but idk I was really disappointed. The waitress gave me the menu to replace the meal but there wasn't much on the menu that I saw to get because I was already cheating my diet and certain things wouldve taken it too far for me. I decided to just wait for the cheescake. My husband and I freaking love cheescake. I might have to go to the grocery store and pick up some cheescake mousse to make up for that disappointment. The cheescake really hurt my feelings. it was like rubber. My husband took a bite as well and he said we can stop and grab some from somewhere else. I wanted to ask for a to go box, just so it wouldn't look like I was dissatisfied with everything, but I was dissatisfied with everything but the hushpuppies and the service. I really wanted to give this place a 5star but honestly can't. The service was great and welcoming, but the food was VERY, VERY bland. Shrimp and grits tasted like grits with condensed mushroom soup...that's it nothing more or less and the shrimp was obviously small and from a frozen bag that would of been okay but was not sauteed with any type of seasoning. Catfish was the highlight of the whole meal bc it was fried nicely...but it was supposed to be Cajun seasoning which it was with NONE at all. My red beans and rice...again very bland. Kidney beans and white rice should have been the menu description. My sons pasta bowl was suppose to be like Cajun Alfredo chicken. The noodles were the type of noodles you'd put in a cold pasta salad the green, red, and white rigatoni noodles which were too bland for my son who can't stand anything spicy. And lastly...How do you mess up gumbo?! They didn't even bother to mix the shrimp in the stuff, it was just sitting on top like a small pink garnish. Again, no seasonings... Then they served me the gumbo like a sauce on a bed of rice. Gumbo is a stew, it should be served that way. Over priced and under seasoned and I had high expectations... I wish I would've spent my bday dinner somewhere else. At least the beer was cold. Needless to say I DO NOT recommend this resturant to...
