I recently purchased a beautiful new couch and glider set from this company Rooms To Go of Columbus, Ga. During the transaction there was miscommunication on the pricing advertised versus what was being charged at check out. As well as the sales rep Tracey stating multiple times a great thing about Rooms To Go is if they give me a delivery date it will be there! It was a Sunday and We needed couches immediately the sales rep told us if we ordered that day we could have them by Thursday which worked perfect because my wife was off and could be there for their all day delivery window. At check out when one of the items being purchased rang up several hundred dollars more than the advertised pricing sheet compared to what was actually on display I stepped out to rethink my purchase. Before leaving the sales rep Tracey again said if you want it delivered by Thursday you will need the order put in today the other furniture stores can't guarantee that. After several minutes I returned to complete my purchase. After a few days we never received our pre-delivery verification phone call. I looked over my paperwork again to find the delivery date was scheduled for the following Thursday an additional week out. This was very frustrating being the sales rep was well aware we needed the furniture delivered the week of purchase. We had family coming into town and no living room furniture. After calling into the Columbus location the manager on duty was nice and apologetic but essentially kept stating the sales rep was not at work so she could not confirm with him what was said or agreed on during day of purchase. Also that there was nothing I could do because the dates were booked if I wanted to pick the furniture up myself. The sales rep also stated I could return the items worry free if they did not fit in our home or at this point arrive in the time frame I needed them. The manager on duty confirmed I could but I would lose 20% of my purchase refund. The overall experience with this company was far from delightful and I will not be returning or referring anyone to this business establishment.    Read moreI purchased a king size mattress and box springs from the store in March 2018. I paid about $750 for the mattress and box spring, I had to pay a $50 delivery fee as well. The guys arrive at the store properly which was within the next hour they delivered my mattress it to my home I had just had my bed delivered that morning by Ashleyâs furniture the guy threw the mattress boxspring on my new bed and scratched my bed directly in the center, then the guy asked me if I wanted them to take the plastic off the mattress or leave it I asked him to take the plastic off he said thank you maâam have a nice day I said thank you. I didnât know that he was leaving house right then after he took the plastic off of the mattress. I happened to walk up to the front of the house right there in the middle of the floor was the plastic that he took off the mattress. I immediately open the front door and I asked him âsir can you please take a plastic back with youâ and he said âno maâam when we take the plastic off of the mattress we donât take it backâ I said excuse me? I said so you just gonna leave this plastic laying here right here in my living room floor? but he stood there waiting on me to pay him for delivery fee. I said Sir I just spent $800 in the store and you mean to tell me Youâre going to take the plastic off my mattress drag it up here to my living room and leave it laying right here in the middle of the floor? I told him that that was lazy and very unprofessional and tacky so I took that thing after he left I took that same plastic back up to that store open the door and left it right there in the middle of their show room floor just like he left It in my living room. This happened at the Columbus Georgia store, once I get back home thatâs when I noticed a scratch on my bed, I call customer service and report it I have not got reimbursed or heard anything back from them that was my first time purchasing from Rooms to go Outlet Columbus Georgia at the outlet store.    Read moreDO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS ROOMS TO GO OUTLET! I decided to buy a bedroom set at this location to get it ship out to another state. The sale associate was very nice and informative however looks can be deceiving. She assured me each time they could meet my requirements. RED FLAG #1. I let the sale representative know my specific move in date and time and she informed me that another department will contact me confirming the date. Several days went by i didnât hear anything. Come to find out there was a mishap in information and it was never put into the system. Weird. Meaning if i didnât call, my furniture wouldâve never been delivered. RED FLAG #2 once everything was sorted out ⌠they sent me the wrong date.. i had to call and informed them on that mistake. RED FLAG #3 the tracking department contacted me about what time i can expect my furniture to be delivered. The time that was given didnât meet my prior requests. CUSTOMER SERVICE STATED THEMSELVES that my sale representative failed to informed me on the specific accommodating request form that allows you to request a specific time your furniture can be delivered at. I had to drive and ask for a manager to help me with the request form. AMY BLAIR did not apologize NOT ONCE! She did place the request form but It was like pulling teeth to pry out information that could better assist me with the the dilemma THEY caused. I had to ask for the distribution center number and they were a much better help. As a paying customer i shouldâve received much better service. I bought a bedroom set. Not a rug or a dinning table. A sincere apology wouldâve saved me from writing a review. I hope this review discourage you from spending your money here. They will not be great assistance if your order gets screwed up.
