IHS Computers — Local services in Columbus

My experience at IHS Computers was better than I could have ever imagined. I am completely technologically challenged and I would rather take a fork to the neck than deal with computer issues. So imagine my surprise when I went to IHS and was greeted by the ever-smiling and fantastically pleasant, Sharon. Sharon did a fantastic job helping me understand my computer needs which was professionally balanced with how IHS could help save my computer. After admitting my PC to the "emergency room", I received a call from Kyle shortly thereafter. Kyle provided a thorough diagnosis as well as a complete, honest and transparent remedy. I am intimidated by all that is technology and Kyle simplified what was wrong, what was needed and next steps needed - all without being condescending or speaking down to me because I wasn't a "techie". The prices are quite reasonable and much more affordable than purchasing a new PC. I will definitely return and have committed any future business to IHS Computers because of their professionalism, exceptional customer service and overall, out of this world...

I went to another local computer shop twice for a issue with my computer not powering on and when it did it went to the bios menu automatically. They said there were no issues with the computer. When I took it to IHS they did a comprehensive diagnostics and found many small issues they believed may be causing the overall problem. They called me the same day to update me on what they found what they had done and what they planned to do. It was ready for pickup the next day. I was also provided a itemized receipt with a total break down of all work done. They do cost more then some other places but the work they do is far above the other shops in Columbus.

In summary: The work they do is more then worth the price. They will find and fix issues fast and keep you updated on what's going on. They are friendly and easy to talk with, I never felt rushed off the phone while getting updates or like it was a bother to have something explained in detail.

This is hands down the best shop o have used and I plan on using it for any future needs. (Though knock on wood I won't need...

We as a Company do not give out reviews. However, in this case we will make an exception. How this Computer Company ever gets lower than 5 Stars would be a Mystery to us. First a few months back they recommended an Off Site Cloud Backup. All I can tell you is, that this has saved my business. I had a complete Hard Drive Meltdown. IHS had to do a complete computer makeover for us. If it were not for the Backup, well you get the picture. In the Fall we are producing a new Reality show entitled " Computer Eye, for the Ignorant Guy "! This will Star various Employees of IHS. Also, we can't say enough about Mason, except this, he is possibly the single best Outside Representative a Company could have; Easy Going, Knowledgeable, to the Point. It was obvious from the beginning, his concern was for our business. Thank you IHS. We realize this is a Long critique.
