Had heard great things and was really disappointed . . . Ordered three times from Harrison West location:
As soon as I picked up, the girl working there (super nice) immediately apologized and told me that the pizza was burned and gave me a gift card because it was the end of the night and too late to make another pizza. The pizza was a little burned, but by no means would I have complained. I thought it was pretty good! Zero complaints about this order . . . mistakes happen.
Happily tried them again . . . staff couldn't be bothered to help (whatever, teenagers . . .), but when I got home I realized the pizza was REALLY burned. Major bummer.
Walked in and staff walks away, call out your name and they sigh, eye roll and turn around just to dramatically hand you a pizza that's already paid for . . . you literally just have to hand the customer a box. Half the pizza was burned and barely any sauce.
Bad service at a takeout pizza place, whatever . . . you want to miserable at work, that's on you. Consistently being unable to make a not burned pizza is...
Read moreNY style review They also have a Detroit style called the Mo Town I was unaware of until I got there.
Really nice aesthetic, but known for their char and well done undercarriage, which I did not get. However, I did see pies coming out that had it. Depending where your pie sits in the oven will affect your experience. The oven is conveyor style with a “ceramic” floor. Off the bat, you will notice an excellent chew - signature for a good NY slice. The crumb was average - looked like they didn’t give the dough enough time on the bench out of the fridge (cooked a little cool). Good quality cheese. Sauce leaned on the acidic side, average canned tomatoes have citric acid, but balance was decent, could’ve used a bit more salt to offset. Crust was a bit soft for a NY style, but good ferment and flavor. Overall a very solid NY style in Cbus, def...

Ordered online which was easy. The menu is very paired down- they offer a 16 inch pizza either cheese or pepperoni. They also offer ranch sides and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert that they don’t make in house.
Inside is just a place to pick up. They have parking which was a relief. The pizza is really good. The crust is chewy and has a great flavor. We got the pepperoni which was cooked nicely and the sauce is slightly sweet which I enjoyed.
Overall I’d put it as a Comte for for best Columbus pizza. Definitely better deal and better flavor than wizard of za. Has more crisp than Harvest (but Harvest does have more variety of toppings). Will definitely return!
Been back a few more times since this first review and it’s the best pizza...
