This isn't an indictment of the store, rather the distribution.
Since the beginning of the year, whatever detergent they're using to distribute items to stores is so heavy on perfume that I can no longer shop at any Volunteers of America store. I received a skirt that was so heavily fragranced, it has lead to me needing to throw out my entire wardrobe because everything either burns or is hurting my head.
I've sent an email to the VOA of Ohio and Indiana contact form. I used to come in to peruse pendants and video game stock, since they take good care of both, but now I can't even enter the store without getting so nauseous that I have to leave halfway through my usual rounds, else...

I tried to buy a necklace at this store that was on sale and the employee told me that I couldn't purchase it as it was tagged wrong. The items they get are DONATED.

They also have a jewelry and special item area. Shoes are on wall racks, separated men's and women's. The store is very bright, well laid out, easy to move around and clean.
