I am posting this for my mother in law and husband ( My mother in laws story begins now) I am a 72 year old Vietnam War veteran and my son is a recently retired 20 year Army veteran with PTSD. He just started a new job which requires him to wear dress up clothes which he has a few but not enough for work. I decided to take him here because I've been here before and the prices are affordable and the customer service was good also. We found him a few pairs of pants and a few shirts but he needed to try them on to see if they would fit before we bought them. My son walked over to a man who works there and kindly asked for the key to the fitting room. The guy very rudly looked at him and told him that the fitting rooms were out of service. I was thinking that he really needed those clothes so if the fitting rooms were closed maybe we could try them on in the bathroom. I walked over to a woman who was working at the store to see if we could use the bathroom to try on the clothes. She turns around and started yelling at me that they didn't have such a thing, and that even if they did she wouldn't let us use it just to try on clothes because the bathroom is for going to the bathroom and not for trying on clothes. I looked at her and said that God didn't like ugly (meaning that God doesn't like rude, ignorant people). The man who talked to my son heard what I told her and he looked at me and asked me if I've looked into a mirror lately because I'm VERY ugly which means that God must really hate me... Then the woman interjected with saying that she didn't need God in her life because she already did and that my ugliness was going to send me to Hell... My poor son didn't really know how to handle what was going on so he pulled me away from the situation. We ended up having to put the pants back. We had some really great shirts that he wanted to get but we couldn't just buy them without knowing if they fit so my son who has PTSD and self esteem issues because he has pimples on his back due to stress and anxiety, had to try on the shirts in front of everyone in the middle of the store... The rude workers tried yelling at us again because we were trying on clothes in the middle of the store and apparently that's against the store policy. We finished up, paid for the shirts, and left... I left the store really upset! Sorry about how long this story is. If you come to this store be prepared to use the bathroom before you enter the store... Also if you are wanting to buy clothes make sure you know your size. And know might get yelled at or be littled for...
Read moreI visited this store recentLy and it was a big disappointment based on how the staff behaved. They were highLy unprofessionaL and acted entireLy too anxious to cLock out. I have never heard of a store cLosing at 6:45 pm on a Monday. They did not greet peopLe upon entering the store and after being rung out the young man didn’t say, “thank you” or offer any type of cLosing remarks. It was very awkward. I guess anything goes because one of the cashiers was dressed in an outfit that showed her stomach. I had never seen such in a pLace of business. The staff discussed personaL issues on the fLoor and acted as if my (aLL visitors) visit was inconvenient for them. I’ve been to this store in the past and it’s okay. It had been over a year since the Last time I visited. The merchandise is fair. The appearance of the store is fair. ALso there are no mirrors on the fLoor for browsing. Odd. Just not a whoLesome experience. I aLways want young peopLe to be trained properLy so that they can acquire more in Life. There seemed to be no reaL exampLes or standards being set in pLace for the staff...
Read moreVery terrible experience with staff. Staff lock the door 45 minutes prior to schedule closing time of 8 PM. No signs or listing posted informing customers when they are allowing the final people in prior to locking doors. Staff very unfriendly to each other, multiple arguments transpired during my purchases. The upkeep of the store was not very tidy multiple item stained hangers is broken, as well as clothing scattered among the floor. Staff very unfriendly with customers as well multiple attitude and eye roles were given to myself, as well as observed with other customers. If this is the face and brand of the shoppers world community, I strongly believe this needs to be adjusted as soon...
