I have always had a bad experience with their pharmacy. Yesterday takes the cake though! I needed some medicine (imperative for my survival, non narcotic) transferred from Walgreens as my doctor sent them to the wrong pharmacy (that's a human error and the doctor has already apologized for said error). I called Thursday at 10 am and was told it would be ready in 24 hours (employee on the phone was helpful and understood the importance of no interruption in medication). I arrived to pick up my medicine at 5pm on Friday (30+ hours later) was told in an exasperated tone that they just got the information back from Walgreens and that it wouldn't be ready until Saturday/Sunday (putting me off my schedule and putting me at risk for stroke, embolism, and heart attacks, as well as discomfort and the inability to work). They did expedite to Friday evening when I explained how serious it was (even though due to HIPPA it is not legally required for me to disclose personal medical information to beg for my medication in a timely manner) and informed me all of my medication would be available within an hour. I confirmed that thet accepted my newer insurance, that they had all 4 medications (which is only half of my typical medicine schedule but since I have recently moved back into the state I do not have prescriptions for some medicines yet) and needed the pricing (which they were unable to provide) so that I could send someone to pick up the medication later on Friday. They stated it should be okay and no issues. Sent my family member to retrieve my medicine (over 2 hours later to give them more time to get their ducks in a line since they had obviously been procrastinating in handling the manner) and they were denied one of my medications, given partial refill on one of them, and overcharged for the remaining 2 medications. (These are all medications that have newer prescriptions in the Walgreens system but that I have exclusively been getting from Walgreens for over 2+ years, no change in brand, type, or dosage) So now, instead of getting to focus on my job today. I have to return to Kroger to attempt to fix their error so that I can function throughout this month. Their professionalism is seriously lacking in such a serious setting. If you have the choice go to Walgreens where safety of chronically ill patients is taken seriously as well as handled...
Read moreThe Kroger Co. has become FUBAR since the aim of B.H Kroger in 1883. They are definitely no longer winning in each store and more. Friendly and fresh. I think they threw the whole entire playbook into the baler and let Michael Scott play with it. The employee at U-scan did not know how to utilize the page functionality on the phone. So be prepared if there were an emergency she would not be able to get you help. Always go to the Pharmacy, they are the only professionals in the building (the Pharm.D's). Customer service put a rope up at 14:00 and refused me service. They later claimed it was due to a coin shortage, but they did not know my request at first. Apparently your local Kroger is operating with zero quarters in the entire square footage of the building. Store manger Tracy said in a perfect the Kroger customer service desk would be open the hours they were advertised publicly their customer base, but they just basically do what they want because Kroger give zero F's anymore. The other day I spoke to a service associate named Peighton and she told me she wanted to just walk out right there. Working at Kroger shortens your lifespan worse than that of the average lifelong smoker. The culture has diminished significantly, and that is from the point of there not even having morale existing. I will be placing a call to the Westerville office on Monday, as the very outsourced Kroger plus line dropped the call before I gave any details. The employee that claimed to be new. She would not have been placed on U-Scan operation straight out of hire and should have been ran through basic operations of using the telephone. So training has apparently just disappeared as well. Please shop somewhere else. So many better options. Katie claimed to be the Assistant Manager of the store, but Kroger Assistants would be in dress code that she was in. Again I repeat standards fell around...
Read moreI like Kroger buy hate going to this location. The customer service at this location is terrible. As an example, I walked into Kroger looking for some spices at about 8:30 PM. I was standing close to a checkout lane, and there was a cashier with no customers standing there doing nothing. So, I said hi, and I asked her where I might find the spices. The cashier did not acknowledge me, turned her back to me, and pointed in a general direction. I indicated that I could not tell if she was pointing at row (I think it was) four or five. She clicked her tongue, rolled her eyes took a step closer to a row and pointed to the row without saying anything. They did not have ground Fennel, so I wanted something to either grind or crush the spice. In the mean time, I helped a customer who could not reach the organic olive oil. Kroger employees did not help her. I passed this same employee two more times looking for something to grind the Fennel. She would avoid making eye contact, and her body language was something like don't bother me. I only want to this location because Giant Eagle was out of ground cloves. I won't be back unless I...
