Wholly Craft is possibly my favorite store in the whole world, along with its sister store in the Short North, Surprise! Modern Party. Looking for a card that isn't your generic run-of-the-mill Hallmark stuff? You will find exactly what you're looking for here. Need to buy a present for someone with excellent taste & feeling bored by the usual suspects at the mall? Done. Wholly Craft offers an impossible-to-describe selection of handmade artisan goods ranging from quirky t-shirts to kitchen wares to jewelry to things for baby that will blow your mind. The selection, representing both local crafters as well as small business producers from around the country has a little bit of everything for everyone, & between that & the fact that they're always changing up their selection & adding new & different things, the only problem you'll find is that once you go one time, you can't stop going back - & what starts as a trip for a present for someone quickly becomes "one for them, & then all of these for me." Olivera & all of the staff are really great, & if like me you just can't get enough, check the website & sign up for some of the crafty classes they have on offer for an evening of fun...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot say enough about this adorable party store and gift shop. If youāre anywhere near Clintonville, itās worth stopping jn. It is my go-to when I need a gift, card, balloon, or party supplies.
The range of paper goods, jewelry, houseware accessories (kitchen towels, little bowls), stickers, baby and kids gifts is excellent. You can count on finding something fun!
They have this program where every 5 visits you get to toll this giant dice for a % off your shopping. My first time I rolled 50% off and couldnāt believe my good luck. Itās a fun joy-filled idea!
Recently, I left a pen I had purchased and they pro-actively used my contact info and emailed apologizing and saying it was behind the counter with my name. I had noticed it was missing when I returned home but it was a $2 pen and I figured it wasnāt worth the hassle of going back. It really said a lot about them that they worked hard to reach out on a small...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is for anyone who feels that they are treated differently than white costumers, don't waste your money where you're not treated equally! I was so excited to see this store, thinking it was a craft store. I was not even upset when I found out that it's a basic gift and such store. Google has them listed as a craft store. What caused me to give such a low rating, is the employees seen me walk in and did not greet me or anything, but spoke to all the other customers. Greeting them with delight and interest. As I continue to look around noticing all of their items, I saw a section of black art and products gear towards the black community, I felt culturally used and unappreciated. So I walked out with a heavy heart. I can't spend money where I'm not wanted. Hopefully they will understand and address this issue and continue to...
