This place is the Definition of above and beyond. I called Monday, and asked about their baking protocol. I have a lavender allergy and they have a lavender pie. I wanted to be safe and make sure that there was no cross-contamination. I spoke directly to the Baker. She confirmed their baking procedure and that it would be safe for me and that they would set a pie aside for me on thusday. Well I then on Wednesday I determined that I probably couldn't walk into the building because of said allergy and I decided to order it online. And through their order now app it does not let you order a whole pie.So I ordered 6 slices when they realized I had 2 orders essentially placed.They called me to verify. Which was wonderful and then when my order actually got dropped off it wasn't my food.It was someone else's food , so I called to try and Get this food to where It was supposed to be and to get my pie. I spoke with Trey. He was super nice, he said I'm sorry, go ahead and keep the food just come by and I will have your pie for you and immediately My brain panicked and I was thinking I can't go into the store. This is why I ordered delivery in the first place. But before I could even voice that concern Tray said I just give us a call when you pull up and we'll bring it out to you. So I arrived. 15 minutes after the phone call. I was across the street. Tray ran across high street with busy traffic. One way and back the other way. They were all very considerate and very through. while their Meau doesn't have much that I personally would like. The food was given to my co-workers and they all enjoyed it very much. The pie was absolutely phenomenal. I shared it with all the nurses. I was bringing it to my mother-in-law at the hospital. I will 100% be ordering from them again. And I recommend everybody come here all the time. They have a very unique menu and all of their food was delicately made and phenomenal. They also provided me a list of the sandwiches that I ended up with to verify that not only was my lavender allergy, not an issue but also My Mushroom allergy wasn't either. This wasn't even my food and they were still concerned. That is absolutely wonderful. I called 3 other bakeries in the area that serve lavender products and all 3 said There's nothing we can do. You can't order anything here. Didn't even try some only had drinks. I was just asking you know what their policy is? Or their procedures they shut me down immediately but dough mama they looking out. Every single individualized spoke with across the three different interactions were very polite and super courteous. I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. Incredible, fresh, delicious food in a cozy spot and the friendliest staff! Everything we ordered - avocado biscuit, quiche, tuna melt, salad, scone was perfectly cooked with the tastiest seasonings and toppings. The friendly staff at the front told us that all their biscuits and pastries are made by hand! The scone, bread pudding, and biscuits definitely tasted homemade and were SO DELICIOUS.

We also ordered a variety of cold brews: the lavender maple cold brew, regular cold brew, and maple cold brew. We also had a matcha oat milk latte. The regular/plain cold brew had an excellent spectrum of coffee flavor with citrusy and herbal notes. The lavender latte had a perfect amount of lavender. The maple latte had a very subtle maple flavor and was not too sweet at all. The matcha latte was so incredible and inspires me to make it better at home too!
