I'd give 6 stars if I could * First thing to note is that they bake their meat in house and slice it fresh to order. It's not the greasy, slimy stuff you get from a supermarket that comes from a factory farm and is vacuum sealed in a pool of chemicals & preservatives. Their roast beef is so tender and juicy that it could pass for prime rib and the turkey & baked ham are exceptional. I've been all over the country for work and have tried hundreds of delis and sub shops over many, many years. Vona's is the gold standard & I always travel far out of my way to get there. If you're ever within 20 miles of Connellsville make it a priority to stop by and get a hoagie or 2. I usually call ahead of time and order a couple lbs of lunch meat, cheese, and a bag of rolls for pickup then I eat like a king for a week, lol. I promise you'll not be disappointed. Lastly, the girls there keep the prices unbelievably affordable & cheaper than most grocery stores.
