Rainbow Snow Cones — Restaurant in Crestview

Under newer management. The guy prior to the new owners made this place the spot to come on a hot day but whoever owns it is pushing whatever customer base he built away. Cones are inconsistent. Prices went up and it seems there's a new person every time I went and they don't know what they are doing in there. The quality of the ice tastes like they freeze tap water at home and shave it.Today we went and was told they now charge you to use a card if you don't pay cash. Medium cones have turned Into a small cone in a medium cup. Paid 10 bucks for 2 schmediums with condensed milk. Il be driving the extra 4 or 5 miles to go to retro...

Unfortunately having to change my review. I'm not sure what happened but this change in ownership has sent their quality down. Poor choices are being made clearly. Perhaps to save money? I'm not sure. But the flavor is terrible now. At first it was just in the syrup. Either how they mad either or where they sorced it. Not sure. But now it's like the ice they used is out of a dirty hose. It's tastes terrible and it's so unfortunate. I hope they fix it but until then I can't waste my money there. It is hard running businesses in small towns, however Rainbow Snow Cones truly goes above and beyond. We booked them for an apartment event but they had another obligation the day we booked — instead of cancelling on us, they made time to provide us with all of the materials we needed for the event and offered for us to pick them up and still have the best snow cones in crestview for our event.
