Torrid, I appreciate you. I respect what you have done for the plus size community. Your clothes are great quality, and I can’t begin to tell you how many of my favorite pieces of clothing have come from you. Seriously, you make a big girl feel beautiful af. The different cut in clothes because you recognize that not everyone has the same body shape. Chef’s kisses. 10/10 five stars A+ The only constructive criticism I have is please please pleaaaaaase make an oversize tee. One with long shoulder sleeves. I’m sure I’m not the only one woman who has big arms. Mid length should sleeves ride up. It’s not cute. It’s not a look. It’s not flattering. There is nothing I’d love more than a loose sleeve, something that isn’t cut like a box, a tee that defines the waist a little. I swear with every fiber of my body I would buy every single patterned you created in that style of shirt. I would cry of happiness. Please make a cute tee with longer wider arm sleeves. Pretty please.

Wow. An employee was very unprofessional and very rude to me. I had to wait over 10 minutes in line. When it was my turn, I told the clerk I was there to pick up an online order. I already had the e-mail open on my phone that instructed me to tell an employee my order number OR show the e-mail. She asked what I ordered (clothes or shoes)& I said clothes. I then showed her the e-mail, with the order number enlarged on my phone screen. She scrolled up to my name instead & put my 1st name in her computer. She then asked for my last name. I told her I had the e-mail pulled up & if she would like the order number instead. She got upset & angrily asked if I was irritating her. I answered "a bit". She made a big deal of opening the seal ed envelope with my order, checking every item, & saying aloud the name of each item. She then put it all in a bag, handed it to me, & said "have a better day" in...

I was honestly really sad and disappointed. As a plus size individual I know that I am not able to shop just everywhere. I specifically came to torrid because I thought they’d carry my size so I’d be able to have a happy summer in a swim suit that fits my body. Instead I had to settle for the only bottom that fit me. They only carried up to a size 4 in swim wear. There was not a single article of swimwear above a 4. They said they could order the suit for me but I might as well just do it myself, but then again why would I do that if I can’t even try on the size I need! I guess I’m not allowed to shop anywhere. Next time I will just go to walmart because at least they’re cheaper and don’t PRETEND to cater to a specific demographic.
