I absolutely LOVE this store! Everything nerdy in one place! If I had a million dollars I would probably spend it all here. I gave it 3 stars for one reason. The customer service on the website is HORRIBLE! I placed an order almost a month ago and have yet to receive one of my items. I have now sent them three e-mails asking where my item is. I waited over a week before I sent the first e-mail asking about my item. I had not received an previous e-mails about this item other than the confirmation that I ordered it. Come to find out it is back-ordered. Ok, not a big deal. and they said it would be shipped in the next 3-4 days. I patiently wait another week and e-mail them again. This time they don't give me a timeline and say sorry for the inconvenience and they will send it as soon as they get more in stock. I have now waited another week and the item still has not been shipped. So I am now on e-mail number three asking where my item is. After I sent the third email I now have received an e-mail letting me know that they no longer carry the item and I will not be receiving it AT ALL!! Not happy with this at all. There was no communication that when I bought the item it was out of stock. Great store,...
Read moreShopping and giving to charity at the same time!!! Does it get any better than this? The Box Lunch, located in the Boise Town Square Mall not to be confused with The Lunch Box, a waxing store downtown Boise, is a place where you can go to buy your favorite pop culture gifts. I like to think of it as a smaller Hastings store. They have Harry Potter, Disney, many different childhood tv shows and movies, all of which make perfect nostalgic, and pretty cool gifts.
The best part is that The BoxLunch helps provide a meal to a person in need for every $10 spent on pop-culture themed clothing and accessories a meal is purchased for those in need-- how cool is that? The people here are friendly and the quality of items was very high. I encourage you to check it out, maybe find something that you want, or a pretty cool gift, and know you're leaving there providing a meal for...
Read moreI haven’t been many places in months, including the mall, because of COVID. I’m well aware of the mask mandate in Ada County and do my part to wear a mask. However, what I do NOT tolerate is being rudely yelled at for briefly taking my mask off to scratch my face. I have a beard and occasionally it gets itchy underneath my mask, therefore I need to scratch my face. My wife and I also don’t appreciate the feeling of being monitored the entire time we shopped, but what really put me over the top was the mask issue. I was in a corner near the front of the store more than 6 feet away from anyone other than my wife and was not touching anything. My mask was still attached to my face while I very momentarily scratched my face. Aside from that, the employees stood around talking to each other if they weren’t following us around the store. Won’t be going back for a long,...
