First experience was awesome and I recommended all my friends to come. Second experience I got charged $1.99 to upgrade to steak, but only had about 3 tbs worth of meat in my whole chimichanga. It had so much rice that I scraped most of it out. For some reason, the rice was hard and very greasy. The tortilla was absolutely soaked in oil, even into the food. She had the girl get beans from the steamer tray. But she didn't have the sense to mix it first. So there were puddles of water in the crusty beans. If she would have mixed it together, it would have been a nice texture. As it was, I had gross, crusty, paste-like beans. How lazy can you get?
It was so bad it's no wonder I never see anyone eating here. If they don't get their act together, they are going to be out of business in under 4 months. And it's a shame. The first time I ate there, I didn't get charged to upgrade to steak. I actually had meat in it. The beans weren't gross and crusty. The rice was cooked well and soft. The tortilla wasn't dripping oil. I didn't get charged to sub the sauce for cheese sauce. And I didn't get charged for two salsas. (I can live with the upcharges, if only the food is good!) I had jamaica, and it was amazing. I had been looking forward to eating there again for a month. Now, I doubt...
Read moreVERY RUDE. I noticed that their menu has an item that another popular Mexican fast food restaurant here in Idaho has. I asked what goes on it and the young lady at the register did not know, then I asked if it was anything like the same item at the other restaurant, she did not know so she asked the cook. The cook came out, shouted at me and said, "This is not (other Mexican restaurant), this is El Cazo Mexican Restaurant, I dont know what the other place is or what they have, this is El Cazo Restaurant, ok?," then proceeded to tell me what goes on this item. She then went right back to the kitchen. It was so dramatic to the point where people standing in line made comments to me saying there should have been no reason for my question to get such a rude response. I told the young lady at the register, who was very sweet and embarrassed, that I wanted to switch my order after learning what goes on it, the young lady went back and told the cook, young lady came back and said that the cook said she was already making the fries so I couldn't switch. I WILL NEVER AGAIN COME TO THIS RESTAURANT and I am for sure letting friends and family know about...
Read moreI order a #4 chicken flautas and while eating them I found a hair in one of them so I went back to the cashier and politely let her know, her response was that the hair was mine. I asked for my money back and while she was handing me the money she said " I'll give you a refund this time but I leave it to you and your conscience." She basically was calling me a liar and a thief. I told her she needs to act more professional if she is going to be running a business. I also asked for the owner's phone number. She didn't provide it. I should've known it was going to be bad when she has a phone "glued" to her ear even when she's taking your order. She also said that recently had found a hair in her food and thought "eff it, we eat worse things " and ate it anyway. To what I responded " I don't " and walked away without and apology and at least three times she insisted it was my own hair. Worst customer service ever. Never...
